I just feel that X-23 has been shoehorned in there because Hugh Jackman maybe giving up the role in these standalone films after this one(well...maybe not quite giving up the role! coz aren't there more X-Men films to come out?) & the exploits of X-23 will continue things moving forward of that

& YES! i know that X-23 is part of comic lore.

I really hope that guy with the slicked-back black hair and sunglasses is Mr. Sinister. If he doesn't appear in this film, there needs to be 1 more X-Men film taking place, set in the 90s.

The bonus clip at the end of the last x film confirmed Sinister for the Universe, at least. Heavily implied that he created X23, so my gessay is your wish will be granted.

It's confirmed that he'll appear in the movie.

And if they do a movie set in the '90s, they really need to have a change of cast. It's hard enough to buy James McAvoy as a man pushing 50 in the last movie.

Yeah, just like Hugh Jackman was too young to play Logan in the original X-Men. He might look old enough now, but 17 years ago he looked too young. But a movie could take place with some of the cast that there is now, but the focus should be on characters that have been neglected by the series so far. Colossus, Jubilee, maybe re-cast Rogue? I always liked the 90s cartoon version of her. And of course, Gambit should be added, as well as Nightcrawler and Psylocke. And for Primus's sake, an accurate version of Juggernaut would be great. He and Sinister should be the main villains, if they can't make the movie about the Phoenix and involve the Shi'ar.

Probably won't get Colossus as he's already lined up for Deadpool 2, and Gambit is supposed to get his own movie as well so he's probably out.

Aside from the fact that they're both genius billionaire playboy philanthropists, they're about as far apart as you can get. Even at his brightest and campiest, Batman is still nothing like Iron Man.

Iron Man was actually created because Stan Lee wanted to troll readers. No joke! It was '63, the height of the hippie era, and he wanted to make a character that was totally unrelatable (Much as Spider-Man was meant to be extremely relatable) so he went with a billionaire industrialist and weapons manufacturer. It's worth pointing out that he was never really all that popular (And was utterly reviled after Civil War) until the Robert Downey Jr movies.

On a much more fun note, Day 1 of filming for Infinity War, confirms Avengers meet Guardians (though I think we all assumed that from the day Guardians was originally announced)

Pretty much everyone is slated to be in Infinity War, if I remember correctly. Even the people from the Netflix shows are going to be in it, or at least Daredevil is.

He could be wielding Jarnbjorn, his axe that he used to wield before he picked up Mjolnir. He's been using it recently in the comics after he became unworthy of wielding Mjolnir, so they might be paralleling the comics.
