Yeah, because the US doesn't get movies released way before other countries.

Yeah, I understand, but 3 weeks of difference between USA and Europe? In the age of fast internet? I quess they had decided to dubb it first, cause life action movies of corse need to be dubbed

Australia had to wait TWO MONTHS for the last Turtles movie.

A better reason for simultaneous worldwide release dates would be to cut down on piracy.

But studios continue to cling to out-dated marketing models.

-edit-

13 April was the official premiere, not many regular movie goers would have had the chance to see it. It hit most markets on the 22/23, US release day is May 1 ... that's just over a week. So really, ain't nothing to complain about.

Why do believe dubbing is involved in a film shot and produce by an Anglophone company?

In fact, the premiere was in Hollywood, on April 13, then London on April 21. 11 territories have the release on April 22. Most others up to 1st May. It may be more likely that it's due to the IMAX 3D release, but I really am not sure. :-?

EDIT: AH, Burn got there first. :D

Of course I didn't read them. I don't want to see any spoilers!

It worked out that I don't have to work until 4:30 next Friday, so I'm going downstate for a double feature of Avengers and Age of Ultron in Imax 3D on Thursday night! I'm going to drive my Dodge Avenger to go see Avengers!

It is a Disney movie. Disney owns Marvel. Now go watch one of the best movies of the decade and then come back and tell us what you think.

Goodness.

Watch the movie and discover it for yourself.

Stop being so lazy, we're not going to hand your answers on a platter when you can easily get them for yourself.

That's what the world said: "who are these people? Is that a talking tree? And Bradley Cooper plays a raccoon? This movie looks weird."

And then something amazing happened. What that is, you'll have to find out.

That is exactly what I thought, so I ignored everything about it. Then, it came out on redbox and I discovered that it had some amazing reviews. I rented it and watched it, that same night I returned it & bought it on Bluray.

Trust the marvel brand marvel movies.
