I'm guessing most of the major retailers that plan to carry him will have a listing up in the next few days.

Yes, this exact figure. The first issue had problems, and the reissue fixed some. This reissue has the same fixes as the previous one.

I haven't heard any complaints about the most recent Ultra Magnus re-release's knees breaking either.

And btw I think the transformation is poorly designed. I have tons of official and 3rd party MPs and I really don’t like changing him. If he’s not broken he looks great, changing him is awful. Don’t believe they can fix that. Needs a total reboot.

Ultra Magnus had problems?

There were issues with the part holding the knee ratchet in place being too weak and giving out causing the knee to become floppy.

So I haven't seen any updates on this recently. Is a re-issue confirmed? I would have expected a listing from BBTS by now.

Not everything reissued by Hasbro Asia ends up on BBTS. It was confirmed the day we newsed it and can currently be preordered on taobao.

Its all Chinese, Takara and Japan are not involved in this.

If it really is a Hasbro Asia exclusive it should turn up at least on Robot Kingdom eventually, right? There's a bunch of sellers on TaoBao offering it now so it should be getting a wide release in China.

I never had problems with my MP-09 Masterpiece Rodimus Prime either. The Nemesis Rodimus though ... that was a different story altogether, and I was able to finally fix that with some replacement parts on eBay that were readily available a couple of years ago.

I'm apparently behind. I'm surprised they are reissuing it! It was a fun toy despite its flaws. My biggest problem with it was his inability to hold his weapons. Hopefully they fixed some of the other problems with the toy that it had previously.

It's Hasbro Asia reissuing it, and yes the listing from Chinese sellers mentions the fixed knees.
But I dont think any of the other issues aside from that will be fixed.

I have ordered many an item from TF-Direct, they are ok in my book!! They've also been cool with cancelling and refunding pre-order deposits.

English is not their first language, but i would not hold that against them. TF direct gets you the asian stuff other more prominant retailers usually skip.
