This figure continues to impress me. He is so well proportioned from top to bottom. There really isn't an area where a lot of kibble congregates. Wheeljack is very streamlined.

Looks great. I see two or three different shades of white like the neck and back of hands. I hope it will all be one uniform white in the release. I still find it comical that they have given Wheeljack such a tiny gun. I'll pretend the gun is a pneumatic drill and have him displayed building something.

His waistline looks horrible. That little bit of non-show-accurate hood is a very poor substitute for an actual abdominal region, which there should be plenty of room for in the back of his vehicle mode (as with MP Bumblebee). The top of his pelvis is the worst part, curved and minimal instead of square and solid. It is really obvious from a lot of angles that his actual waist actually only consists of a pipe.

If I could actually afford to collect masterpieces I would pass on this one.

He was originally due for release by the end of July. I've just been told he's due end of August so this looks like he's been delayed FOR A SECOND TIME. Ridiculous. They ought to have learned how to stick to schedule by now.

I don't know if it will directly delay the release of Bumblebee but he was never going to be released on time anyway. None of them are.

He was never scheduled for July, its always been August.

Its also worth noting that no one else got these emails and none of the other retailers sent them out Annnnnd HLJ just put up NEW pre-orders for WJ. What probly happened is they decided to make more, but release that second batch in Sept instead.

Either way, people shouldn't freak out till the two big retailers (AE/HLJ) in Japan or BBTS confirms. Then you can freak out if you want.

What if you have already freaked out? It wasn't much but people noticed.

Perhaps we should never take any notice of expected dates and then when they turn up its a nice surprise.
