Indeed. Plus of course we do have a few repaints and retools on offer through the Season One molds.

Megatron - T-Wrecks

Dinobot - Grimlock, Hardhead, Thrustor

Terrorsaur - Fractyl, Laserbeak, Hydra, Terranotron

That is thirteen more characters, adding to the full Season One roster of 14. Plus the existing Primal redeco and Shadow Panther.

Hardhead, Thrustor, and Hydra need new molds different from Dinobot and Terrorsaur since their cartoon models were much more toy-accurate than Mainframe's very cheaty CG models.

Yet taking them off the list, that is still an additional Ten characters. Sans the Primal redeco, that would bring the Beast Wars Masterpiece line to 25 characters

EDIT* I do forget those characters existed outside of the figures.

Neither do I

I can understand the weird feelings towards her chest plate, but this is how she looked, and the colors will almost definitely drown that out.

And besides, this is not an explicit sexualization (like some 3P thingies that went way too far...), this is her look, and she had that look and kicked ass and generally became one of the best characters of both shows she was in. She is more than her initial CG design.

This thread is like 50% arguing back and forth about Blackarachnia's supposed nipples.

Due to the polygonal structure, her breasts come to a point. Call them nipples or don't, they were on the show model and they're on the toy. Can we talk about something else now?

Like how legit gorgeous her energon web is? I bet she looks amazing hanging from it in beast mode

I don't normally go there, but, I think I would be okay paying more for her, if they gave her a bigger web, and the stand was lit in a way to light up the web

But is it really her stand? Because for Blackie, this will not be a luxury, considering most of her toys have a hard time standing on their own.

Maybe, maybe not, if you notice the ball sockets of her beast mode legs, they don't allow the legs to be raised past a certain point, so I think that bit of forced structural integrity will help her stand on her own, plus, I would think that that would be a prerequisite for releasing her, plus her legs are also all pinned

To be fair, they shouldn't need stands, if built properly. Flashy poses are fine for some, but Bot and Beast should be able to stand comfortably on their own. It wouldn't be a great engineering feat for Takara to make them balanced and weight evenly distributed.

Given these superficial stands have only really come into play with Dinobot, I can't see the point in say Scorponok, Rhinox or Rattrap having such things boxed with them. Hopefully this doesn't become an ongoing trend Post-Blackarachnia, to knock the price up by a couple of quid.

I can't see scorpy having one as he's going to be bulky as is, and there won't be any thing they could put in that would be dynamic like BA Web. Rattrap is the only one who I could see getting anything like it

I wouldn't say he would be bulky at all. I do think that, other that the Fliers, as the remaining Season One cast are squat with multiple legs, there is no point to stands. Accessories and extras sure but stands would be redundant.

I can't see him coming with a big stand for the figure, but I really hope he comes with a small clear one for his cyberbee drone.

Probably. I am very interested to see how they'll accomplish it.

This transformation mystery is gonna be a fun one to see happen.

And I really don't mind the stands. I'm ok with spending the extra bit to allow for some more dynamic poses and such, and if she comes with the web that would be even cooler, so in character for her
