Picked up stinkor and scare glow. Waa tempted on teila but her paint was blenished on one and the others foot was slashed/cut??

Hopefully I'll find fisto and andras to repaint at others or even the new eternia heman/skel as they are part of the teila wave.

So having completely forgotten for the past few ...months. Just purchased Classics Optikk from eBay. Thus, by the end of this month, my Classics Space Mutants collection will be complete (as far as Classics got, anyway).

Obviously, due to the eye variant. I had to get two of him. But getting a second, loose one (and separate weapons pack) was significantly cheaper.

I was lucky enough to find some new MOTU Origin at Walmart!
The miracle 15$can deal is no more so the figures are now back at a more normal 22$can.

I got the evil trooper, the fabulous Sun-Man, and Clawful. I could have Anti-Eternia He-Man but I find those repaints ridiculous and I already have Faker.

Why this guy isn't called Goldarr I'll never know. The motu names were lazy like that, don't go changing traditions.

The toy would really have popped if the armor was gold painted. I'd be tempted to but having the two of him looking the same is the point to me. The artwork is brilliant as always and the mini comic gives back story to how he first met heman. Nice touch for a 'good friend' of heman that had one cartoon episode :p

I always watch the Major Wrestling Figure Podcast and they were talking about how the villain from that comic, Magistrate J'oeshoes is named after one of their Major Pod regulars Joe Shoes. Surprised they didn't make him a pirate captain or something.

Toynewsi have details for Origins rise of the snakemen wave 1 (not sure why it isnt just wave 11 even if mattel was copying the gi joe classified way of ugggh whats in a wave thing), hopefully smyths will start restocking them

I want all of the wave with no duplicates which isnt a bad thing. Pre ordered a king randor just incase he never shows up and if the eternia set makes him go for crazy prices. Snake mountains on the backing art again so I dont think it's been forgotten about. i'd even bet on a fright zone at some point as well as the slime pit.

I wish they'd stop putting exclusives like Camo Khan on the package when there's no chance of most of us getting them.

Maybe they will go down the haslab route and make the number of figures that are preordered rather than a crap shoot. It will depend how they do eternia but running a smaller test funder with an exclusive figure might be the smart thing to do. Principles have kept me from backing any haslab stuff (zavvi even had a few left over mandalorian ships this weekend gone).


TK max has origins heman in for £10...annoyingly though, some of them are in the 40th anniversary stickered packaging with no sign of the rest of that wave.

I doubt they've really learned anything. They claim they did, but whenever anyone brought up all the controversy surrounding Wun-Dar all they'd talk about his how successful it was. They either need to make more, or they need to do the whole "fan channel" thing that Hasbro does (wide online pre-order with no physical retail releases beyond comic shops), or do shared exclusives with BBTS and EE and other specific shops. Made to order would really be the best solution, a lot of Japanese collectibles are done that way. No real need for a "HasLab" model since they'll always hit their minimum, just leave the window open for a few weeks and only make enough to fill the orders (and a few more for exchanges and whatnot).

Grizzlor goes on sale and gets sold oyut on sept 9th in minutes...but then it opens up as a made to order figure on the 10th YAYAYAYAY.

Might actually be able to get one.

Well I do now have a spare Green eye laying around. Fun fact: Optikk was one of the few NA characters to get a redesign, mid-show:

Castle grayskull has no pics up yet but the price is showing at £133 which is hopefully a place holder as it is way too expensive for a kids range.

Amazon UK also finally has Origins pig-head listing but that might be from marketplace sellers listing the sku etc at £62... owch but at least its cheaper than what people are asking for snout spout or leech on there.

That Man at Arms is from pretty early in the line, wave 2 of the vehicles packs I believe, quite some time ago.

Teila and Zoars looking good. Helps that I skipped retail teila having the s7 tv version so its almost like not having to pay for the same figure again (hides green goddess...). Wanting a Zoar for a custom but i think I'll find an old beaten up one instead of buying two of these packs.

I've also gone not wanting origins Extandar with having the classics version to wanting multiples of them to use as suits of armor in Eternia.

I almost bought the fortnight figures in space suits two pack rather than pay the price of a mysterys of caslte grayskull but think I'll hold offf.

Masterverse Movie Motu.

Skeletor looks great and maybe even better than the classics. He-mans could do with a better head sculpt but if he has a few heads or even just a third party head like mythic legions it should be great. Aslo his sword needs to be biggggger but thats just my memory playing tricks on me.

Origin Mantena is mine at last!

At first, I wanted to import it from the faraway land of Vancouver. Out of stock.
Then F it, BBTS. Out of stock.

Finding it live at my Walmart is cool as hell!
I love the vintage original, but this one is modernized in an amazing way while retaining the vintage look. Simply amazing!

I got it too, a very impressive effort went into that toy. Probably the best value out of the entire line so far.

Just imagine a Transformers with the exact same looks of the original G1 toy, but with modern upgrades like they did for Mantena. It would be quite something!

I have Mantenna in my POL at BBTS. I'm really impressed that they didn't release it as a Deluxe.

I remember finding an original Mantenna at a boot fair, as a kid in the early 90's. He had no accessories and his eye paint was a little worn. But at 50p, he was a bargain. Back when people used to value second hand toys as cheaply as possible. Before internet pricing ruined everything...
