Motu figures are being revealed over the course of sdcc so there will be more to see.

Masterverse stuff, I'm really glad I waited out on triklops.

Snout spout looks amazing and more than good enough to buy two to have one as hose head.


Needing a better look at new eternia man at arms, it just doesn't seem to have oomph but it has to be better than Revelations or random villager duncan.

Origins cartoon versions.

Looking like the previous rumors for the waves line ups might be right (not the rumors about origins ending hahah)

We might actually get 200x origins figures with effort put into them. Which means I'll be buying them, nooooooo. Go back to the low effort stuff.

Teila looks great, glad I skipped on origins Trapjaw but even then I think these cartoon origins may replace my TV Super7 and any excuse I have to get rid of their awful tv She-ra is a good thing.

All of the Origins stuff is looking great. I almost want to try a head swap with cartoon Trapjaw and theirs Origins to finally give the guy his eyebrows back.

Masterverse stuff looks good too, especially Snout Spout and I guess we're getting a another Battlearmor He-man for the series. I hope that with SS we also get Mosquitor.

Looks like we'll be getting all of the reveals Thursday and Friday.

During Pixel Dan's booth tour he pointed out that one of the Sun-Man figures have a lenticular sticker on their armor, hopefully that means we can finally get Sy-Klone now that they've crossed that hurdle.

They've been pretty good with doing the characters on packaging art so far so hopefully he is sooner than later but gotta have the other rock guy first. Still waiting for dragstor to appear too.

One of the sunman figures from the second three pack looks like it uses masters of the wwe andre the giant leg add ons to make him taller, but if they have done the 12" masterverse figure maybe the origins giants will be done differently.

Kinda running/ran out of room with all the new additions. I dunno where the NX snake Throne is going to go, it's stupidly larger than what I thought it was going to be.

Revelations battlecat makes classics battle lion look too small so lion might end up being used next to origins of they do a cartoon king grayskull.

Masterverse revelations Orco, horde infection skeletor -I like the design of this one though and it could be used for a new eternia look.

Masterverse ? Gwildor... Not sure what this has meant to be, looks more toony to be used next to other masterverse stuff.I'll stick to classics version and wait for an origins figure.

That's a bit ouch at £9 shipping here and the rate that Mattel creations sells out... But it's official. Origins is Mattel creations exclusive only.
They aim to finish off every vintage character but dunno 8f that will involve new characters, characters never done before, unreleased or characters that have only had classics figures or She-ra.
-I was thinking night stalker being exclusive was going to e a pain to get but it turns out they might all be.


Cartoon line replaces origins in stores/online retailers?

Would be nice if Mattel creations sold the wwe superstars walmart stuff online like pulse sells store exclusives, it's so annoying going into toy stores with walls of wrestling figures that I just walk by.

I'm pretty sour about the news of Origins going to Mattel Creations, should have made them fan channel exclusives like a bunch of the latest figures have been. Having most likely only a small window to buy them during in limited numbers and no chance of them going on clearance or ways to get free shipping is rather cruel to fans who have been keeping the line going this long through all the terrible distribution issues.

If they insist on doing things this way then here's what Mattel needs to do:

1) Drop the individual product line memberships and do an all encompassing MC Membership that includes free shipping (which isn't offered in their current memberships) ala Hasbro Pulse.

2) Bring back the "made to order" program. If they stopped it because it wasn't getting as many orders as they thought they would then instead do only made to order.

3) Up their notifications. End this nonsense of sending out an email the week before and saying nothing again when it comes to MOTU but bombarding us with a bunch of emails for every car and doll released.

I don't really have much of a connection to the cartoon, it didn't air in my area when I was a kid and have only seen it as an adult so I don't know how hard I'm going to go into the line if I'm likely going to have to pay premium prices for Origins and also still collect Masterverse.

Mattel might only have one or two things instock at a time so the postage is going to add up fast for me. Not sure how they release movie origins figures now either. Will blade be origins or part of cartoon release with a movie sticker on the box.

Cartoon line looks to feature filmation and 200x, will it include NX Shera, more NX heman and revelations. I kinda think they will do origins versions of revelations characters.

The only kinda good news is that the origins wave repacks doesn't sound like it is a thing anymore but that's probably not a good thing for those who wanted repacks/missed out on a figure.

It's all wait and see at the moment

During a Pixel Dan interview they implied She-Ra was possible.

It's taken over two weeks for hasbro to get back to me about my order they cancelled for GI Joe Serpentor but I dont think location wise matters for that.

Ordered instock Slamurai today so another off my wants, still strange on Vykron being shipped on his own by mattel with dragon blaster skeletor and snakeface stock reaching stores this week.

Damn it, Entertainment Earth cancelled my King Hiss order, it was the only place still taking orders. What really sucks is I had one in my hands at Target that I almost bought but my EE order also included the Talon fighter which is also sold out everywhere and the two together gave me free shipping. Now not only have I lost KH but also the free shipping.

Hate it when that happens hope you get king hiss locally or better still at discount. I'm looking at paying at least £80 total more and not being able to even get some things I wanted due to virgin bank and one of those was origins 200x king randor.

Vykrons arrived and must say he kinda feels special having him in hand. Box is kinda collector friendly and feels more like transformer selects packaging, except with Mattels as always awesome art. Figure looks way better than masterverse barbarian heman.

*space armor looks to have arrived warped and outa shape but kinda to be expected with the temperatures in some states being 43ish in normal people's temperature :p

Well there is some hope that Walmart might get him in. They finally moved their massive hoard of Leech and Snoutspout that they've been holding onto since Christmas to the clearance aisle. They had so many of them they had to use an endcap to fit them all!



There's another row above these out of shot. Prior to this, what they couldn't fit in the actual MOTU section they had in an overstock section in the toy car aisle.



May as well post this again, this was back at Christmas when they DID try to cram them all in the MOTU section.



I'm curious how many of these they actually managed to sell at full price, couldn't have been many.

And yet in uk leech is around £40 to £80 and same for snout spout (can get lucky at £28ish sometimes) and I didn't see any in the walmarts I went to

Who's the crystal looking guy on the comic cover? Pixel Dan did a review of the figure, but didn't talk about the comic.

Comic cover guy looks to be some kind of cosmic power heman. Dunno if they would do a jack kirby tribute but if classics did Stan eeewww Lee then could be a thing. Comics seem to be continuing the other dimensions/unused designs that started in frog monger comic. The snake greyskull thing on fangors backing card is probably from those sources.

Another dark horse hardback book coming out too, art of origins and masterverse. I'll get it but it will feel incomplete when they are still doing art for both lines.
