The Gen 1s would see more beast missions if they'd level up to 4 and spawn them. I think all the 2-4s are cross gen, but Psychout will correct me if I'm wrong.

I can corect you if you like,

There are lots of 2-4 Bot v Con missions, Pineapples has never spawned a Pred mission, I was under the impression only you guys could spawn them

Ding, that's correct. In fact, that change and the reduction in mission size is what made the cross-generational missions playable. Low frequency is our only issue now.

So if anyone figures out how to generate at Beast vs. G1 mission (time of day, character level, ... whatever it takes to trick the random number generator) be sure to let us know.

2-4s were added after that mission spawns were reduced, and each faction could spawn the 2-4s?

Well, hopefully we'll get some beast 4s soon. I dunno how close the Preds are, but I know there's a maxi getting close to being able to.

The way i see it the higher the level the better for missions, the only downside is CR costs but if you got the money in the bank then level away i do and since going level 3 with Airstorm Alpha iv not looked back.
Hopefully have my full team into level 3 by end of March and Airstorm Alpha's well on the way to level 4

narc, if your reading this most of your takedowns wont count cause the missions don't end in a 0 or 5 or against G1's

p.s. just been through all 0 and 5 ending missions, there is a lot of G1's only mission in there.

oh well of to try and spawn some more valid missions before the close of play.

2 confirmed predicon kills, my first in round 4,...interfaction missions have been few and far between,...seems like I saw MORE when it wasn't a tourney situation though haha

You old-timers may find kills being critical for winning your side of this competition as the chance of getting a tie for missions wins is so high; two kills could make a big difference.

Not bad at all, I wasnt at a computer for more than 2 hours throughout the whole thing, and still managed 5 kills!

lol, I saw 1 Pred mission and it ended up empty.

Next time we do this we'll have to add the arena still feels dirty saying that

I'm open to that - we would just require all arena fights to be posted and settle on how G1 would score the fight in contrast to a won mission.

Also, processing these mission tallies is a little more interesting as we've got a different pool to work with (all for cross-generational and 5/0s for beasts). It will take me a little bit to get it right - but all details like before (kill validation and all) will be posted.

Lastly, consider this your 24 hour notice to update your kill sheet. Only kills you post count.

I second the vote for arena kills counting for round 5 of this thing for G1 vs Beasts.

I'm on here WAY too much it feels haha, and in that time I only saw two cross missions, one no opposition showed up, and the other worked out just fine for my bots :-)

But for the amount of time I was here, I feel like it was sorta wasted waiting on the tourney (not FULLY wasted though, as I bided my time throwing bots in the arena and missions to nab some quick xp and energon in the meantime)

As for scoring the arena bouts, I'd even take them if they only counted for a half a point and the mission kills counted for 1 or 2 or even 3 points....only fair really.

There's my two cents :-B

Looks like we we both wrong, Joe pineapples spawned a predimission today not sure what time it was exactly about 6-7 I think, you were in it

What makes you so sure he spawned it? Ive been known to look at the missions, see only the 'a mission has been generated' message, and think sod it, and go to the arena.

Im pretty sure I remember it being said by the powers that be that only beasts can generate cross factional missions.

From what I can deduce, it spawns a mission from a 'weighted' list, inter-gen are weighted far higher than cross-gen ones, so whilst the cross-gen ones are very rare spawns they'll still happen occasionally.

I plan to go up to level 4 asap. I only need about another 160k XP to go up. If you wanna go to level 4, go for it. It's your choice.
