Interesting. Honestly the extra speakers don't bother me so much- they seem less like "fake kibble" and more like "He has even more speakers in robot mode which also makes him look more G1".

However I'm still not buying him because as a rule of thumb I don't have "objectformers" in my collection outside the realms of MPs (I do want MP Soundwave...) so instead I'll be waiting for someone to do a Blaster that turns into an actual vehicle.

Dont really see the need for this guy anymore, its tken so long to get released that any one who wanted a Blaster have either bought Soundmixer or have KFC's on preorder.

3 or 4 month ago i would have snapped him up , but with this snail pace run there on i don't care anymore and kfc have stole the lime light .

im thinking its too late for this guy. KFC has made a (surprisingly) good toy and put it out faster. and theres enough (i dont know if flaws is the right word, but) flaws with this guy i can see the masses running to KFC.

Why the comparison with KFC's masterpiece sized version? You do know this one is voyager sized, do you?
I for one can't wait for it to be brought out. I think it look far better than UT's attempt. But I must agree at this pace, when it's finally released, i fear if anyone still knows what a boombox is...

You are insinuating he's comparing MS03 with KFC's masterpiece Blaster, Transistor. KFC already released a deluxe Classics version, Ghetto Blast.

i was refering to Transistor because time moves on and tastes change and for a time MS03 was my Blaster of choice but iv'e moved on to MP and he just doesnt cut it any more .

Going to have to agree with the majority here. Feel this took way too long to get released.

Think this is a awkward toy as appears to be Eight inch Ultra scale. Guessing fans want either a classics Voyager scale blaster or a MP Leader scale blaster that matches MP Soundwaves's scale.

I'm going to be buying the KFC Blaster toy. Due to it scaling great with MP Soundwave. Able to hold G-1 Cassettes. Having a sculpting style I prefer more.

ok. i got mixed up with the size because i remembered it was based on the MP soundwave mold but forgot it was resized. anyways, he's a nice enough figure, but my neo blaster spot was filled a while ago:

I own the UT blaster, but Im digging the scale of this guy. What im not digging is the fake speakers and the ugly toy accurate visor. But I might be willing to overlook that if this guy holds standard cassettes. I use MP cassettes for my classics shelf.
