Ahh. But we don't know that Megatron is dead. Ratchet said it 'could' kill. Not would. That much power at once may have simply overloaded Megs and put him into a coma/enforced stasis-lock.
And being in the deepest, coldest part of Earth doesn't matter either. Biggest plot-holes ever written. "Extreme cold and high temperature will stop them!" Not really. They managed through Deep Space and Planetary Atmosphere easily enough. D'oh!
Auto Bot wrote:Yeah. It's plain as daylight. This is one big blackhole plot hole.
The extreme cold under deep ocean is nothing compared to the deep cold of empty space.
And granting they did have some sort of invisible armor, armors don't protect the subject from cold.

I was writing about the armor they wore during their entry to Earth. (Pieces of it were breaking off as they entered.)

Is Animated Jazz better than Movie Jazz?
Auto Bot wrote:They are metal beings. They can take tremendous amount of hard punches, bullets, missiles (It's weird that only Bumblebee is susceptible), and huge explosions.
The pressure per square inch of all these punishments are way above the kind of pressure they will take on under the deepest ocean.

But it's a constant pressure. Under constant pressure most things tend to go crunch.
Auto Bot wrote:IT doesn't matter.
For me, it's not the pressure or coldness. It's the salty water that can corrode their internal parts.
Auto Bot wrote:Then there's not problem at all being dumped into the sea.
Which is why they'll surely come out alive again. At the most dramatic moment.

Large instantenous pressure over a small area, or impact force, is dealier than constant pressure applied over a large area.
This first will create instant destruction. While the second slowly eats away. Obviously, the latter is much more tolerable.

I like Jazz as much as the next guy, but let him stay dead, it gives the series more of an impact that way.
