Does anyone think that Steven will let anyone make this crap...
Does anyone remember Back To The Future?
Transformers will be Great, with or with out Bay.
Oh and if anyone thinks the movie should be G1, well the mythology is. I prey no REAL fan would want the movie to look like the 80's. Get with the times.....Jees....

And you want transformers to be like snakes on a plane....?
come on give Bay more credit then that.

And on working with bay and Armageddon
"I loved working with all the guys, the actor I mean. It was a great crew, but a screaming Director does not make for a pleasant set experience. But look, we were all big boys, and we got thru it. A little to MTV-camera cutty for my taste, but the shots of meteors crashing into the WTC was pretty prescient. Billy Bob was under-used for my taste. the spacesuits continually malfunctioned, and one nite, Ben Affleck was seen bashing the front glass on his helmet with a rock because he couldn't breathe. I am a fan and a friend of Liv Tyler, and thought she brought some fun to the movie. And it made a shitload of money for Disney. Jerry Bruckheimer is a great producer, and I would work with him again anytime. thanks bw"
and Bays Response on his Blogsite
"Hard to believe it really is Bruce saying that stuff on AICN. I loved working with Bruce. He gave me a big hug one month ago at the GM party and we talked for 20 minutes. We even talked about working together again! I mean it would be sad if he felt this way - he's never one to hide his feelings - I say sad, in that he wouldn't be man enough to say it to my face. But truly sad that such a big time actor would have to hide on a little talk back section. So I really don't believe this story. I find it also totally odd that my agents at William Morris got the call from Bruce's people to inquire if I would like to helm Die Hard 4, but I was already on Transformers. Michael"

Just saw 28 Weeks Later tonight - better than the first or at least as good. Pretty solid all the way through. This will be the sleeper movie of the summer I predict.

I would love to see the brothers make a TF movie, as The Matrix is my all tiem fave movie, and i love their anime-inspired style of directing which would be perfect for a TF movie, but it wont ever happen im afraid so forget about it.

Damn skippy. Andy and Larry are about as good with action flicks as one can get. They can even add a lot of philosophy to what would otherwise be a brainless action flick.
I may get shot for this, but why not team up Spielberg and *Deep breath* George Lucas?

I would have to kill the next person who suggests toy boy lucas does anything TF related! I freaking HATE that guy with a burning passion!
Lucas i mean, not Spielberg, he is a genius.
Anyway I still find it hard to beleive Bruce said that, since it is so easy to make up a story on the internet in this day and age. Id have to see bruce willis himself say that sorta stuff in person on tv to beleive it.
I also like how people always complain and whine about Bay shouting alot too, heres a little piece of news to those people: THATS WHAT DIRECTORS DO!!! Thats why they are directors, they need to tell people what to do, especially on large scale pictures otherwise how are all the different units supposed to know what to do on time? Shouting is part of directing, and when you are being paid millions of bucks i think a little thing like listening and tolerating a megaphone is an easy enough thing to do Mr Willis or whoever claims to be Bruce Willis who wrote those comments.

It was Bruce Willis. He called the site owner to confirm and then briefly opened up a videoconference line. If it wasn't him then it was someone who looked exactly like him and had stolen his phone number. Not only that, but if it were a fake the real Bruce Willis or his reps would have said so by now, considering the fuss his statements have made.
And yes, directors shout all the time, but not profanity-laced diatribes every time they get frustrated and have a hissy-fit (which reportedly in his case is often). I take it you haven't watched the behind-the-scenes features on the Pearl Harbor dvd? Not that many people would want to, especially after sitting through the actual movie.michala3 wrote:Cuaron's work on the 3rd Harry Potter was awesome. Wouldn't mind him doing TFII either. You're not meaning to imply that Alfonso Cuarón had anything to do with 28 Weeks Later, are you?

Pearl Harbor won an Academy Award. Bad Boys 1 and 2 were hugely successful. A lot of people like The Rock. Even Armageddon was commercially successful.
The Island was really the only one that failed.
The director is an ass? How about the thousands of people making him suffer from hyperbole? The same thing Paul WS Anderson has. They make one bad movie, and suddenly their the worst ever.
Crybaby fanboys who can't get used to change, they're the asses.

AbsumZer0 wrote:And Paul WS Anderson? The guy who hasn't made a halfway decent movie since Event Horizon? The guy who took the Resident Evil franchise and turned it into a superhero movie starring his wife? The guy who singlehandedly smashed the hopes of Alien and Predator fans everywhere by taking the reins on the long-anticipated Aliens vs. Predator project and turning it into complete ****? What? If Anderson could stop making every movie worse than his last maybe people wouldn't call his latest movies "his worst ever".

See? That's what I'm talking about. Not everyone agrees with you on Resident Evil (Where Paul only did the first one) or Alien vs. Predator (Which rocked, not as any sort of adaptation, but as a good crossover movie).
And what about Mortal Kombat? THE best video game adaptaion ever. And guess what? Even though MK2 is attached to his name as a bad movie, he wasn't invovled with it.
You're opinion doesn't make the world go 'round. People disagree. Get used to it.
