well 2009 botcon isnt till mid may so your best bet would be at the motor city comicon in june. I dont know if people will be selling em though because there usually a pretty penny and not too many people want to part with them. I know when I went last year to the 08 botcon I was getting all kinds of offers for my shattered glass set and the prices were ridiculous. Someone there had an ad at the hotel that wanted 1000 dollars for the set and someone actually BOUGHT it. So if your interested in botcon sets than Id advise saving up for the june comicon. Also if you join the Transformers Collectors club you can order it through there website, but again there a bit pricey

Joining the club is always a option, but since I know certain figures will be given to attendees only I prefer going where the people are to get my stuff. Plus this year I know there will most likely be more Autobot toys than Decepticons so I would sell most of set anyway. Guess I'll wait to see whats in the set then save my pennies to get them ASAP. I certainly don't want a repeat of the 07 Botcon, waiting did NOT help me afford those figures.

what does everyone think about that classics prime trailer?i think i am going to have to order one. it looks pretty good.

I like the design. I also like that they added some accessories like bumblebee's gun and a few more suprises. The Roller as the back trailer wheels is a very cool innovation. I like that they didnt just copy the old trailer design, and slap some different colors.

thats' what i was thinking. i cant wait to see full color pics of it.

oh yea, i got TFU blurr last night. very cool. he is tall. might be as tall as lockdown.

Hey random question for you guys, but what are the chances of seeing an encore release of trypticon? I mean they already did two bases already so I guess there is hope, or do you guys think they will go back to regular figures for awhile?

I picked up a Marvel Crossovers Captain America at Meijer today and 2 each of Universe Smokescreen and Dinobot at the Brighton Target. They had 2 of each left.

Back from the Detroit Auto Show, which was awesome despite the dropouts, and despite the non-toy relatedness of this, thought I'd share just 2 pics:

Finished my "Gold Rush" Corvette inspired outfit ('cept the skirt...I still have to make that and ended up using a random skirt today instead). Here's a pic of me as close to the Chevy Beat (later to be called Spark?) as I could get.

Well, that was easily the worst car loading I've ever experienced. I hope tomorrow is better for me than last month. Hopefully, I can pass out soon. I don't want to be tired all day tomorrow.

canton target on ford road has 4 cyclonus, 1 hound, and a starscream and cheetor. they also have an animated ultra magnus and 3 jetfire/jetstorm 2 packs.

Thanks for that. I grabbed a Safeguard set. Target in Livonia at 8-mile and Haggerty had somewhere near 8 Hounds, 5 Cyclonus, 3 Cheetors, 4 Starscreams...

I grabbed another Hound. I really love that mold. I like Cyclonus, but Hound is just awesome!!!

Saw the new universe smokescreen at the flint target on center road today. Wasn't impressed with the deco so I left it. Sadly there was no dinobot

I am so sick of snow. Sorry I missed everyone yesterday, but between being snowed in, again, and having a fairly nasty cold, I wasn't up for going anywhere. ^^;

Does anybody know which set is in the Universe Deluxe cases marked WV 01 09? Is it the Hound/Cyclonus case or the Smokescreen/Dinobot case? They had one at Livonia Walmart tonight but I didn't really feel like digging through the pallet to get to it. They also had a case marked TRA 2-Pack w/ Comic. Is that the Safeguard case?
