Well, I can't preach it completely, because I own a high HP vehicle currently, but I am highly encouraging my wife, whose lease is up next fall, to get a vehicle that gets high MPG, I believe she wants an Escape hybrid... electric when it is below a certain MPH, which is good for her since she uses her vehicle in mostly city driving/stop-and-go....but yes, she currently drives a Focus wagon so we can get all my stuff to Extravacon!!!

My truck is average on gas, I just tear though it quick. I easily spend $20 a day, most days for work. I'm just glad I get 48 cents a mile. The last place I worked only gave us 20 cents.

On the highway though, it's awesome. I was getting over 500 miles per tank on our way to FL.

I think my truck gets about 10-12 MPG, so I'm in the same boat you are. I need PQP to supe it up for me

I want them but I already have most of the originals and all of the reissues. It's getting harder to justify buying so many versions of the same mold, and they just keep improving on them. Jerks.

I'm getting kind of grumpy about MP Starscream. My only chance now to snag one will be when I visit the parents next week. I'm sure Takara/Tomy will do one eventually, but it would be nice to find one in my own country.

They better have produced the crap out of them. And I have a disheartening feeling that they didn't.

I miss actually finding stuff at stores.

A little word of warning to those planning on getting or have MP-SS. Mine already has stress marks on the small wings of the hip pieces, which are now leg pieces on mine, looks better that way. Just be careful of them. I fold them up and take off the entire hip piece when I transform him, but it's just a little something to look out for. Nothing to be too worried about.

sweet.. we've been testing our new editorial software here at Mediaspan by putting out a company newspaper. There was an article about Web Comics, so of course, they asked me about it. I mentioned Lil Formers. They took one of the lil formers comics and put it in the paper. There was also a plug for Seibertron.com when they asked me what my favourite website is. too bad no one outside of the company will see this paper(actually, that's probably a good thing :grin:

) I think my Transmetal Megatron will be here today. Might have to go order that transmetal 2!!! :grin:

I got my transmetal megatron! he's awesome. I bought him off of ebay from Toy Arena. ebay member: liqdeal. I bought him monday night, he shipped tuesday and got here today.. from California. and that was priority mail. I'm really surprised. I just bought a transmetal 2 megatron from them a little while ago. I've got to stop. no more spending after the con!! :grin:

liqdeal is awesome. I have bought many items from him. Be carefull with TM Megatron. Many have suffered from Gold Plastic Syndrome.

this one seems to be in really good shape. the box was sealed, so he's never been opened or transformed(until now). I probably won't mess with him too much more, once I get him home. thanks for the warning though.

Yeah, I've dealt with liqdeal before, I have nothing but good to say about him.

Found the SWTF Commander Cody today at the Taylor WM, along with the AT-AT, bought both. There were 2 Snowspeeder Lukes left. The AT-AT doesn't have that great of a 'bot mode, but I like the idea of having a minature AT-AT.

While I was there, I again asked about MP Starscream, this time, I asked the cashier. She told me to speak to someone in toys, I replied that I had been both ignored and lied to by the people in the toy dept, so I wanted to ask someone else. I told her that it is one of those items that can be sold on ebay for a profit, and she responded "Ah, I see. We get alot of complaints here about that. Alot of those hot items never even make it out to the shelf. Some of our employees seem to think that people don't know any better, but I see that you do, and they could get in alot of trouble for doing that if they were caught."

I told her that I'm not trying to get anyone into trouble, but I'm getting annoyed at the apathy and lack of knowledge shown by most of the employees there, as well as making numerous trips for nothing. I said basically, I just wanted to know for certain whether that store would be carrying them at all, so I don't have to waste my time. She replied that they should be carrying them, but doesn't know for certain. She took my name and number, and is supposed to leave me a message. She even apologised for the lack of help from the dept itself. Go figure.

Anyway, I also scored another set of GI Joe wave 3, and finally got a Shipwreck with a decent beard, at the DB TRU. They restocked TF Deluxes and Voyagers, and tons of FABs. They also had 2 GF Optimus Primes, and about 4 Metroplex.

This 3 day weekend can't start soon enough.

Well, that seems to explain it. Toy stockers at Taylor walmart need a beat down!!

Hopefully you'll get a call from a manager and they can do something about it.

I want my 5 day weekend to start. but I've still got 5 days before that. but at least two are a weekend.. :grin:
