I wish that I had a week or so notice about the Motor City Con dealer tables, I may have taken them up on it. There's no way that I could get everything together by tonight.

I'd like to make some money.

I still haven't seen the new DCU stuff...but the coming waves look good. I'm so glad that they are doing the Eradicator, shame it's a WM exclusive. I want the Riddler from that wave, too. And that SDCC Lobo made me jump with joy! Now I have have him pound that goodie-two-shoes Superman into submission...

GM, I'll keep a look out for ya, but if you could pick up one or two Premium BBs for me, I'd be much obilged.

I'm going to hit the 'Con tomorrow, if anyone wants to ride with me. Don't know what time yet. Contact me if you are interested.

And, I did a stupid thing this morning. I went and got my hair cut yesterday, and accidentally threw on the same shirt I wore. ::Itchyashell::

i got stealth bumblebee and slavage last night at 12 and gratiot walmart. the had several premium figures also. jazz BB ironhide and blackout. no big daddy or grindcore. did anyone find them more than once?

no new joes or DC figures. but while i was at TRU roseville i found 3 blue harvest bobbleheads. i was so close to buying "darth stewie" but i didnt.

oh yea........ TFGIFF!!!!!!! B-)

Cool. No problem as long as you can grab them from me tomorrow. I'm on an unexpectedly tight budget for the con now. Long story short, it involves a friend in need and a crap-load of Star Wars toys. I have a healthy re-stock for the next Xtravacon at any rate.

Wave 7 Joes is at Livonia TRU, I grabbed the 2 Vipers and Driver and left the rest on my way back from "The Joe" :-(

Wave 8 is already hitting in Arizona, so W7 may have a very short shelf life.

How was the Con? Was the Colt 45 flowing w/ Billy Dee in the house?

!! So today I ended up with the Target G1 Jazz repaint, Stealth Bee (courtesy of GM), and Classics Starscream and Bee (courtesy of PQP). That + getting to actually SIT IN and play with the K.I.T.T. car made me one insanely happy fangirl XD And the Corvette show next door helped too XD I have had a kinda crappy week, for reasons I won't discuss, so that really cheered me up. Thanks for letting me tag along to the con! I had a blast!

Geez is it windy outside... O_o Anywho, shall I post the group pic? :grin:

I picked up a Premium Bumblebee at the Okemos Meijer today. I also snagged the Hoth Patrol and STAP Attack battle packs at TRU. I finally saw the TRU exclusive TIE fighter with the huge side panels, I wanted it but after seeing it in person I didn't like it all that much so I left it.

I found a Titanium Boba Fett at K-Mart for $7, I grabbed that too. I didn't find much else of interest. I did grab a bunch more Thomas The Train expansions and Speed Racer Hot Wheels for the kid.

He's not even here yet and has a nice toy collection started

Westland Meijer had Premium Bumblebee. I bought 2, not sure how many are left, I want to say there was at least 1.

Glad to hear the con was not a total bust. How were the dealer tables? Lots of vintage 80's toys? Cause that's the only reason that I would go. But if Botcon is any indicator, the vintage 80's toys, have been replaced with more modern 90's-08 toys which I am not as interested in.

I want me more new joes, and more new joes! And minicons, and exclusive microns... :-(

Yesterday was good, it was good hanging out with everybody, and showing off the collection afterward. The 'Con was interesting, and I was impressed by the 501st's presence, and all the cute geek-babes(that doesn't include men in short skirts) wondering around.

RC13, GM, and Jimotron were all great to hang out with, you guys are always welcome. And it was good seeing Highbeam again, enjoy the Classics. And we ran into Drive-By, but he was taken away by the Storm Troopers!

I had a modest haul, got a BW TM Megatron MISB, and TFC #2 Prowl. I finally got a boken, and I picked up two t-shirts, one TF and one X-Men. And Gm brought me 2 Premium BBs and DCU Harley Quinn, thanks again. :grin:

The dealer tables were decent TT, but TFs were pretty scarce. I saw nothing really rare or interesting, except the ones that I grabbed. I probably could have cornered the market there. GM and I should have teamed up. Ah, well, maybe next year.

Where's the pics, guys? Highbeam? RC13? GM? Let's see some highlights.

yes, the con was quite fun. I bought one 11X17" top loading plastic sleeve for a print I bought at botcon. that was it.. just nothing there I was interested in buy. I"m working on the pictures... I don't like the way iPhoto does things now, so I tried manually making a page last night. spent about 2 hours on it. hit publish and it disappeared. :-x

so now I have to start all over

I"ll try to get them up soon.

Ahh.. I just got back home. It was a great con. And it was especially great running into you guys as well! Though I could of did without getting rained on. ;p Though seeing three Slave Leia's made it all better.

My awesome wife found me a sweet Cobra/Decepticon jacket and a Seven Samurai poster. I owe her big for that one. I was able to find me a Revoltech Megatron, the CC Bumblebee. And the best of all, my ML Warmachine that I have been looking for, for YEARS. ;p Well 3 to be exact but still. He is mine in all his smelly plastic glory. Though someone told me about the Wal-Mart Exclusive Movie version of WM so I need to be on the look out for that. Could someone please keep me posted if they run into one?

Anyways it was an awesome weekend.

On an unrelated note, whenever you guys go on your toy runs, think you could take a look in the diecast car section for this lil guy? He's a 1:64 scale Camaro by Jada (from their "For Sale" toy line) that I'm really anxious to get my hands on.

It would go wonderfully with my ever growing Camaro collection, and my random "Bluestreak", who is also from that Jada line (got him a few months ago):

has anyone checked out the Spectacular Spider-Man on KidsWB? It is on at 10am on saturday mornings. I just watched two episodes of it. It's good. It seems like it's a mix of Marvel Universe, Ultimate Universe and the Fox Cartoon rolled into one. For example, Peter is still 16 and in High school like Ultimate, but the venom symbiote came to earth on the space shuttle like the cartoon. I haven't seen Mary Jane much. Seems that Gwen Stacy is Peter's girl. It'll be interesting to see if Gwen meets the demise that the other incarnations of Gwen have met.

the episode I just watched had Black Cat in it. She sounded really familiar.. turns out it was Number Six from Galactica :grin:

i also finally saw the new spidey cartoon this weekend. it is pretty good. and i also thought black cat sounded familiar.as for the villians, chamaleon quentin beck(mysterio) and some other guy i couldnt figure out. i will have to start getting up early on saturdays to watch it from now on.

Henkei astrotrain is great looking. He'll look nice next to my TFCC exclusive Astrotrain. the coronation gear is fun, as is my second revoltech hot rod. But, the black repaint robotmasters LioConvoy... holy crap!!! he is awesome! the robotmaster lioconvoy is a great figure.. but the repaint just blows the regular one away! He rocks! :grin:
