Bumblevivisector wrote:I mentioned this in the Kreon wave 4 thread, but it bears repeating here:
Went to three Targets today, and none of them had any Kreo besides TF Kreons, wave 3 blind bags and some combiner teams. This wasn't the case less than a week ago, so it looks to me like the rest got sent back to give Lego Movie more room to restock, or something. IDR what their selection of larger TF Kreo sets was before this (I was trying to collect all the Cityville stuff while it was on clearance), but it looks like TRU might be the only place for it now (a guess, since I don't go into Walmart).
Do big box stores send stuff on the shelves back when they give up, and if so, does it end up in TJ-Marshaxx, Tuesday Morning, and the like? I bought a Walmart exclusive Star Wars 2-pack at the latter store.
Oh, and I cleaned out the Op vs. Megs Construct-Bot sets from the Wonderland Target at $5.25 each; not sure if any Targets still have any left now, let aloe Predaking. Still no break in the prices of their other exclusives, though.
Cobalt Prime wrote:Picked up AOE Leaders Prime and Grimlock yesterday at the Troy Target on John R, and Voyager Evasion Mode Prime at the Wixom Target today. I have to say, I'm pleased with Leader Prime, despite his size not really warranting the "leader" classification. It's a solid, detailed figure, and as it turns out, they put the chrome in the right places, such as his stacks, grill, and tanks. Grimlock is a little thin legged IMO, but overall has a good, solid feel. Voyager Op is everything the DOTM Voyager Op should have been. He's a tight, solid, nicely detailed, and despite the sparse paint apps, satisfying figure. I am definitely noticing an upward tend in quality on these new figures.
Rijie wrote:5+ Strafe Evolution Sets@the Dearborn TRU. No MP Grimlocks. A couple of AOE Leader Primes, same Evasion Optimus. Also a restock of the Generations Scoop wave, all present.
I'm cherry - picking the Hades out of this line, only acquiring Ev - Op, Score and Strafe so far. I'm enamored with Op. Worth it entirely.
