Mike Owens' Team Autobots to Race in Gold Rush Rally 2018 With Customized McLaren

Gold Rush Rally has been announcing their competing teams for this year's run, and they posted the latest one yesterday: "Team Autobots", led by Mike Owens!
Gold Rush Rally, in case you aren't aware, is a massive annual drive across the country that always features the newest and most expensive super cars in extremely unique vynil wraps! This year is the tenth running of the rally, and it's no different, with a roster full of Lamborghinis, Rolls Royce, Ferraris, Porsches, and Bugatti. But the one we're paying attention to is a Mclaren 720s which has been wrapped with an Optimus Prime design! As mentioned, it'll be driven by Gold Rush Rally veteran Mike Owens, under the moniker Team Autobots!

While we don't think this has been officially designated by Hasbro, it's still cool to see projects like this in the community! Check out a gallery of the car below, and see it in person if Gold Rush Rally makes a stop near you, in one of the following cities starting June 22nd:
Boston, New York, Pittsburgh, Detroit, Saint Louis, Memphis, Dallas, Albuquerque, Scottsdale, and Las Vegas!

We're getting a toyline called War for Cybertron soon, with no relation to the game, though.

WFC has some of the coolest designs. Did they ever make toys from the game? I know it came out around the same time as TFP so maybe between that and the movie toys we missed out.
