I was on the fence before, but I'm sold now.

I have the original Terminus Hexatron, and love him, but this guy has a different feel that's just as attractive. When I want Sixshot to be a ninja, I'll pull out R01. When I want Sixshot to be a soldiering behemoth, I'll pull out R01C. And like I've said before, having 2 different versions will let me keep one in bot mode and one in an alt mode. Without them being the exact same figure. And that makes me happy.

Also dislike the faded off-white-yellow-beige on the arms and thighs on continum. As this reminds me of the 1985 Jetfire toy that had the snow white color that turned beige-yellow after years of exposure to the elements.

What I find even more displeasing is that the Continum toy has the pure white colors used on the robot head and waist-canopy piece. while the arms and thighs use a off-white-beige-yellow color.

At the very least if their going to chose the off-white-beige color for Continum. then have all the parts this color. having mix matched colored shaded parts like pure white and off-white-beige on the same toy, make all those parts stick out like a sore thumb.

I'd be happy just buying a kit that cost $20 to $30. where the new Continum head, guns and chest wings parts were in the kit.

i think what stopped me from buying the original hex, was that head sculpt. because thats the only major difference with continuum, and i fell in love with it.

i was somewhat deflated by seeing the white and off-white, so i studied the original hex (which is still available with certain retailers). the only plus i see with him is the solid white, so im still landing on continuum. i love that new head sculpt!

Honestly, I just think I'll go for the original. The colour difference looks negligible, the new guns are kinda meh, and the loss of the shuriken and the swords is a massive fail.

Since this new version has been announced, the original has dropped in price. Keep an eye out for eBay auctions.

I think there are a lot of upsides to this version. The chrome wheels will help make the Dazzling Glory and Stag Cleaver sets more cohesive, and the head sculpt ain't bad either. It's why I plan on owning both.

granted i didnt check everywhere, but he does seem to out of stock in all other major online retailers.

perhaps youre confused. this "second round" was released some time ago, and ive only heard chimung refer to a specific second round of the first version. it is in every way the same as the original. the new head, chrome guns and wheels are only on the "continuum" version.

Think the newer pics are taking from too far away and come off blurring the toy sculpt and it details.

In these far away, blurry pics can't tell if the head and crotch piece colors have changed and now match the other color shade on the arms and thighs. Is it too much to ask that all these parts match and have the same color shade

Don't know how I feel about buying a whole toy. When all I really want is the new head and new guns.

Think MMC or SXS should create a kit with just a new head and new guns. for guys who already have the toy and don't wanted another full toy.

Didn't get Hexatron the first. Do I go for mmc or wait to see if someone else does a classics sixshot??? How does Hex scale with UT Galvy standing?

Don't like, The 20+ newer highlights added details colors this sculpt got. Think doing the gun-wings in that green-blue color tint looks awful. Think having two shades or white on the toy look mismatched and terrible.

About the only improvements I like are the chromed inner wheels, New head. new guns sculpts with the added chrome.

the pics are pretty high res, the white plastic all seems to match. but is this still a prototype? i swear his eyes are unpainted.

The crotch piece still looks like it's snow white. While the other white parts on the arms and thighs look like their still off-white, light-beige.

Guessing those have got to be the final colors on the toy. according to BBTS, It's got a Late November release date.

This is the final version , Omegalock uk just updated there FB saying it will be released in two weeks .

I wish those chest wings were still black. I didn't mind the purple centers, but the black helped pull together the look. I imagine they're trying to match the back wings / gun handle, but whatever. I like him enough.

i didnt like it either at first cause they looked like stickers... but at some angles they even looked sculpted in, at very least painted. so im ok with it.

Just to clarify a bit, I like the shape of the new wings. It's the paint that irks me (but I'll get over it).
