Agreed. My thoughts of what I first saw of Unique Toys's version is that it's G1 with articulation - which is cool if you are a strict G1-er. I prefer MMC's because it appears that it's a reimaged figure with much more styling.

Edit: If you look closely you can see that the combiner hand and foot make up the canon on his back. Since Tantrum and Headstrong use the same base mold with different heads we can assume the other hand and foot will come with Headstrong.

Predaking is the only post movie combiner that I'm actually interested in. I can't recall offhand, but wasn't his main enemy the Dinos? Someone better get on those guys.

Oh wow! I'm not surprised about that claim this team is going to be on parr with Hercules in height. For a bull he's a bit on the overweight side, but seriously, I can't even pretend I'm bothered by that. This one figure has me making messy in my trousers.

I really like where MMC is going with this. I've always liked their work but just couldn't find a way to fit their figures into my collection. Looks like that's all about to change!

Unique toys design so far actually "seems" like it would be more fun to play with, transform, and combine. I really do like the size mmc's going for, but the blade length vs. handle length throws me off...I know it's probably to combat stability issues. Will have to see more figures and pricing like everyone else.

I really hope it is available for pre-order soon. Would like to see how much it's going to cost and when it'll be released so I can start planning (saving) for it. With so many 3P and MP releases in the new year fingers crossed it is released in a "quieter" month.

This was sort of a no-brainer for me anyway. MMC has improved with each product I've bought from them. They've got my money for Predaking.

I haven't bought any MMC products before, just couldn't justify the cost, but it sounds like they are producing good quality toys. So we can assume these will be well made then?

Probably, yes. Their stuff's improved with each release. Their steampunk seekers are divine.

Never tried a "digibash" before... but thought I'd take a stab at this guy and see how it went. Total pain-in-the-butt and hardly worth the effort.

Thanks for the coloring. The one thing that I am curious about is the shoulder joint. That looks atypical and wonder how it pivots.

They actually remind me of the shoulder joints on Giant's Wheel Loader... and those scare the piss outta me... granted, it's obvious they're delicate, so I handle them with extreme care, but still...

Do we have any idea of when the pre orders will show up on TF Source, BBTS, RK, or Captured Prey? Also any idea of how much each one will cost.

Im trying to collect at least one version of each 3rd Party Combiners. So far I have the first two bots of Uranos, and I pre ordered Green Giant from BBTS that should come in sometime this month.

It also looks like its gonna be a tough decision between this one the the War Lord from Unique Toys.
