Weapon: Black Magic
As part of the (very belated) ongoing updates to the game, I've pushed through a change to the Weapon class.

Can anyone who has a weapon on their team take a look and tell me if they can work out what is different?

I especially need those who had one before I made the change (about half an hour ago - midday UK time) to take a look.

There will be more changes coming, so watch this thread!

You worry about criticism too much. If you don't level up all you're doing is damaging your own team, it's your choice how you play, IDGAF. >:oP

As for the alt update, it is about variety. This has been in the works for over a decade, from when I was last on the staff. Single tactic alts have some of the largest alt (and canon alt) selections in the game but cannot get to level 11, stopping them from being used, leading to a high score table that is almost entirely comprised of either tanks or opportunistic air animals. I hope to balance that with this class and many of the others.

The overly specific dig at my character aside, you feel that because people like to play particular alt types they shouldn't be allowed to get to level 11?

level 11 is overrated
to me level 11 means screw helping somebody in a 6-10 or in a 6-9 or in a 6-8
and people are too selfish

We can always change the 6-10 and 7-10 missions if people want? Shall we switch them to 6-11/7-11? Be more variety and opposition for the 11s as well.

We want to make a game everyone can play, from the statisticians to the roleplayers and all variants inbetween.

Payouts work on a formula but are manually set by us, so if 11s are involved then it will definitely go up, just not by a massive amount.

I don't know if they read here much, but any level 11s (as well as Burn and Steve) got an opinon on the 6-10 and 7-10 missions being increased to 11?

Don't have a problem with increasing the 7-10 ones, 6-10 ... dunno, might need to look at the frequency of them.

There's a rogue single level 9 mission that needs to be nuked too.

And yes, we'll fix up the payouts whenever we update missions. Though again, my preference is to do away with the old/existing missions and replace them with new ones. Get to writing peeps!

Works for me. The 11s I've spoken to are in favour of it changing (Potentate and AZ) too so I'll sort them tonight.

or just get rid of the 6-10 and boost 6-9 into 6-11
actually I don't think there is a 7-10 as I think it was the other 6-10
the autobot navy will not be ambushed in this 6-10 ambushed

found the 7-10 https://www.seibertron.com/heavymetalwa ... _id=143763 inferno fraud
and DECREASE the 1-11 frequency I used a level 9 so I could have a 6-9 not a bloody hell

There is difficulty filling missions so anything that expands on the number of levels that can be involved in them will help with that. Bigger missions with bigger bots equals better pay outs for the lower levels.

Having missions that are only for the higher levels really only makes it so the higher levels can get higher and doesn't allow for the major bumps (for a mid level) that come from even just touching a level 10/11

To simplify things, both the 6-10 missions have now been upgraded to 6-11s, with the payout adjusted accordingly.

There are now 4 missions available for level 11 characters.

1-11
6-11
6-11
8-11
(The 9-9 had already been removed)

This is subject to change depending on player feedback, or people writing mission texts that would be suitable for involving the level 11 titans so we can add more.

I'd rather see more 1-11s than a raise in frequency of 8-11 personally, most of those come up with no opposition. Increasing the missions that range from x-10 to x-11 is nice.
