Just wanted to share more pics of the Superion Appendage Kit I found at TFSource. It looks awesome and can't wait for it to be released. Now I just need to get a Superion to go with the kit.

You know what I just realised? I put myself down for this set and I don't even have the Superion set. I stare at it in the store often enough, probably should actually pick it up but kept passing on it because it's "just another repaint". :lol:

I preordered this about two hours ago, feeling a little uncomfortable about the cost. I feel a little better about it now. I'm awaiting Superion who should arrive next week.

wow.. this is the first accssory kit that i think is really and truely impressive!

where can i find superion? i know hes a target exclusive but ive never seen one there.
this kit actually makes it really tempting to get one!

Cool stuff! :APPLAUSE:

Wish the official products would come with those accessories. Part of the reason I am not 100% satisfied with the Energon Gestalts is because of the choice of accessories they had. I admit I like the idea of making the hands (of Bruticus on this case) out of individual guns but there is something there I wish could have been done on a different way to make cooler.

yeah hes a Target Exculsive but he isnt out Yet, he could be in other countries but here in the states its a TBA release i guess, probally he will when Target gets the first movie toys in just like thier previous movie exculsives, but the kit does look great and i noticed they show the gray/black jet(i dont remember his name) twice in the photo above Superion

If I am to get this, it will be the first FansProject product of mine. The review for the Commander sets and Cliffjumper upgrade are overwhelming, so I'm betting that the Superion kit will be amazing. Seeing as Universe is re-releasing Superion, I minus well get the kit anyways

I'm with you.

I really like the set, but I just can't justify the cost.

I used their configuration for the jets, and I put on a set of G1 Bruticus hands. It works well enough, and only cost me around $8.

This a really spectacular add on considering how few parts there are (which is frustrating compared to the cost and the fact that Hasbro could have done something like this as simply as the crazy gun hands > . >)

To my knowledge Superion and Bruticus-(who will hopefully be getting this same treatment ^_^) are not available anywhere in America (I should know, I've been looking...).

I'm really starting to wonder if they are even going to come to America at all (I know about the ROTF packaging but I have yet to see proof that they are ever going to release it stateside :sad:

) , Hasbro seems to have something against the Energon line and releasing anything other than it's scout class repaints...

Just ordered my set. Cash is kinda tight right now but this set is just to good to pass up.

Still on the fence on getting the Universe/ROTF version of Superion, tho'. Nutty coloring is one thing, but one plane looks like BW2 Galvatron got himself a vehicle mode... :shock:

IIRC, the colors on the original release of these molds weren't that close to the original G1 character colors. Shame somehow. Although Hasbro could have gone with the G2 coloring. Now THAT I'd buy in a second. :grin:
