I love the way that the bigwigs of the movie say that the transformations are super-complicated, and they involve thousands of moving parts, yet they still couldn't find a way to cover up Megatron's head in jet mode.

Even in the concept art for the CGI design, his head is just sitting there on the back of the aircraft.

Is it mistransformed? The head is clearly visible in the alt mode.
Frenzy has made me like the robot mode a touch more, but the alt mode, translucent plastic and claws all really dont make the figure any better at all.

Well, I gotta say, I really don't like it. Don't get me wrong. There are movie figures I like and will buy, but this one just isn't one of them. Also I thought the movie had worked out alt modes where the heads weren't so blatantly visible. Truly a disappointment if you ask me.

I'll probably just buy the voyager class and be done with it.

That's not Megatron. It's a complete alien stranger. Very much like the others. There's alot of bots that are missing too from the original more than meets the eye 3 parter. :-?

I kinda like it (the bot mode at least). But, yes, a chrome face would be nice. I'm glad the voyager class has the ice effect added to him, to set him apart from the leader class figure, besides their sizes.

Yuck. I think they should've just painted the whole thing bright pink and given him big googly, puppy dog eyes. And instead of a fusion cannon, they should've given him a rainbow confetti cannon. Throw in some transforming barbie princess dresses while your at it and I *might* be slightly more likely to buy it.

But seriously, I eagerly await a 'plushy' version of this guy because that will just be f'ing hilarious.

Mediocre, rather than horrible. That's a relief.

I'll have to see if I like the gimmicks and the "fusion cannon" before I pick this one up.
