I've got to disagree with that. It is all a matter of preference. I, for one, can name a bunch of BW figures I really enjoy. I don't see why it has to be one or the other. I love G1 and the toys from that time but if it wasn't for Beast Wars, I may have never gotten into TF's until the live action movies. Beast Wars was the TF kick-starter for my generation.

It all started with Beast Wars for me as well, but I just have no desire to go back and finish off where I started off with that line, because those 4 I've listed do it justice enough for me. As shelf space thins, I find more and more of my BW figures are going off the shelf and into the box. And yeah, I'm sure there's more than 4, Terragator, TM2 Cheetor, as well as some BWII and BW Neo figures are stand up.. but damn, as TF fans, and me personally, we've all been immersed in the robot-to-vehicle ideal for so long, that the whole animal flare has really gotten dull for me.

Now I can agree with that lol. As I've grown as a collector, my taste has definitely shifted to the classics versions of the original characters. My beast wars shelf is now merely the small original cast plus Tigerhawk & Depthcharge. With that being said, I wouldn't complain if every now and then a generations spot was taken up by a BW character. I keep Cheetor & Dinibot displayed with my classics figures.

I would. Every POS Least Wars character they do for the Classics lines takes away from doing a good character and potentially awesome figure. From what I hear, even the Least Wars fans think the Classics versions are half-assed. Please, Hasbro, don't waste any more precious slots on those inferior figures...at least not until Shockwave, Arcee, Blitzwing, and the like have been accounted for, thanks.

Oh yeah, I'd love an updated Deluxe Silverbolt. That would be awesome. Hell, give me a non Transmetal Rattrap and Rhinox while you're at it.
