Why would an official TakaraTomy employee post comparison with a third party (A.K.A. "rival") product?UltraMason wrote:This guy needs to post a teaser image with this figure next to either Protector , classics Hound, Hegemon or hell, classics Sideswipe.
Dead End.UltraMason wrote:I had one Binaltech, the black and silver one that had a sunstreaker face.
MP Lambor is about the same size as the Binaltech/Alternators toys.UltraMason wrote:Is that thing larger than this MP Sideswipe? It had a ton of detail, was heavy as **** and was pretty intense transforming if I remember correctly, sold it as well.
He's roughly the size of a Voyager.UltraMason wrote:How big is this Lambor gonna look next to the classics Ive mentioned? If he's too big its automatic pass as I dont collect MPs. I see him as one of Prime's elite so if he's a little tall and beefy thats ok, but if he is like Towering over Protector it aint gonna work.
Um... okay? Why bring up Track if it's a different mold?UltraMason wrote:oh yea, I hate his classics mold too. They should make a sunstreaker with a bit more effort involved, screw red alert, what a ripoff. Tracks ok, not too much into them other 'new autobots'. In other words, I aint buyin no friggin Hoist for example if they made a Trailbreaker. The six seekers are bad enough in that regard.
How does one PM a TakaraTomy employee who isn't even on this forum?UltraMason wrote:Someone PM this guy and kindly ask for some scale shots.
It's not that Lamborghini wouldn't want it in the U.S.; it's if Hasbro feels the license is worth getting or not so they can sell this toy. If Hasbro feels that it's too much effort and money to get the license, then they wouldn't bother.UltraMason wrote:And just my 2 cents: Is it really possible that Lamborghini wouldnt want this released in the states? That would be a kick in the testicles. I'm starting to realize no matter what I buy in america its just a bootleg compared to japan. Ah well, guess it was like that back in the day if you think about it.

Was referring to Protector.UltraMason wrote:Hound and Sideswipe aren't hastak products?
Sideswipe is supposed to up to Optimus's lower torso, so he's perfectly scaled with MP-10.UltraMason wrote:Im thinkin he'll be a bit bigger than what I'd like, but I can see how it'd be silly for me to try an merge MP with classics an 3rd parties in the first place, but hey that's me...I'm guessing with the right arrangement he'll fit in with some of them. Maybe...
I mean, it's just weird for you to mention this since it's irrelevant to the topic at hand and came out of nowhere.UltraMason wrote:Tracks , Skids, Inferno, Grapple, you know who I'm talkin about. Unless you're saying that Tracks is adifferent car mold altogether, as the others are repaints, with a couple added pieces. Grill, siren lights etc. What Im actually saying is I dont personally care for those Autobots enough to purchase them. I'm more into the 18 members of the Ark (and please dont nitpick what I mean by that). Tracks however is a favorite of mine especially when paired with Blaster. I grew up in that era.
Even still, these pics come from another website altogether.UltraMason wrote:I'm assuming the folks who do that sort of marketing read this forum. My comment was more or less a figure of jovial speech.
Different company who already has licenses purchased in advanced. Not Hasbro.UltraMason wrote:Well that sucks. I see little metal cars for sale all the time at rite-aid, it cant be too hard to get approved? Hasbro didnt make enough money to release one of their best characters?
Well, Hasbro's not bothering with Voyager Prime Breakdown or Unicron. It's up to them if they feel like dishing out the extra cash.UltraMason wrote:I'm sure TRU will get them eventually. Like I said, US seems to be the trickle down last stop when it comes to some of these releases. Maybe the economy and possible general lack of interest concerning big converting robots has somethin to do with it? I been a transfan my whole life since I was 4 yrs old, so its hard for me to gage other americans interest in this stuff. I hate the bay movies, yet people seem to love them. go figure.

We have seen pics showing both that the vehicle mode fits inside the trailer and that the robot mode is as tall as a Voyager/BT toy.Kibble wrote:These thing is supposed to be smaller than an Alt/BT. It's supposed to fit in the back of MP-10 which puts the alt mode closer to a deluxe or Alternity size. The bot mode might be a little bigger...I haven't compared an Alternity bot mode to MP-10. Unfotunately I don't feel like trying it out now to find out as it will require transforming MP-10 back to bot mode.
