I wouldn't say he's a Voyager. Probably somewhere in between a Voyager and a Leader. I can see where BBTS is coming up with its figures in price; seeing how it's foreign, probably more show-accurate, die-cast, etc. I agree the price is scandalous, but charging lower than $90 is a little bad for their business.
I've read it's been measured against MP-10 and it it comes out to 17 cm...so not quite 7 inches. Without the fig in front of me, I think that comes out to about Classics Prime size. If it's anywhere near $160, I won't be touching the Takara version.
Where is everyone getting these dimensions from? Out of curiosity.

If that's the case, MP Soundwave came out years ago. It was called WST Soundwave.
I'm liking the in scale, no mass shifting look they are going for. Starscream and the Seakers should tower over most of the Autobots/Decepticons if they have F15 alt modes.
Someone said that the bot mode of every MP after -10 will be in scale. If the next MP is Soundwave, it probably won't be that small.CrimsonPrime wrote:To those who wanna know the size of MP-12, he's around RiD Megs size. I did a comparison with my MP-10 awhile ago. He's a Voyager class with the price of a Masterpiece...The world is seriously coming to an end~
PS : If the next MP is also Voyager size...I am losing any hope I have left for Takara >.>...

I honestly don't get why scale is such a bad thing. It's not like Sideswipe will cost as much as the other MPs...
No, I'm not trying to be funny.Autobot032 wrote:I'm not sure if you're trying to be funny, or not, but Sideswipe's price is looking to be the same as, if not worse than some of the other MPs.
For a much smaller figure...

Wait till we get a domestic release for like $35.

First of all, it apparently can fit in MP-10's trailer, and standard Voyagers can't... it's more than likely deluxe-sized. Secondly, Hercules isn't even a Transformer, so it's unfair to even compare the two.Hotrodimust wrote:orangeitis wrote:No, I'm not trying to be funny.Autobot032 wrote:I'm not sure if you're trying to be funny, or not, but Sideswipe's price is looking to be the same as, if not worse than some of the other MPs.

It already went from $150 to $130 on bbts it's gonna be less than $100 they gotta know no one would bay that much for a single voyager figure unless you were building hurcules lol
It's too small to be over $40 retail, IMO. It would be unreasonable to charge as much as an MP seeker for an MP carformer.Autobot032 wrote:orangeitis wrote:No, I'm not trying to be funny.Autobot032 wrote:I'm not sure if you're trying to be funny, or not, but Sideswipe's price is looking to be the same as, if not worse than some of the other MPs.

$35? Not a chance. TRU will carry it, again. They'll milk it for all it's worth. I have no doubt that if we do see it, it won't be available under $50.00...

Dude, do you have to be such a jerk?Hotrodimust wrote:Um first of all yes a voyager will fit in mp 10s trailer I fit my altinator silverstreak in fine and they see people are will to spend a $100 a 3rd party voyager figure why not charge that for official product. But that must be to much for you to comprehend. Hercules isn't a TF LOL what is it a gi joe just because it's not made by takara and hasbro dosnt make it any less of a TF to me. I actually enjoy a lot of 3rd party stuff over the official

Well to you, Hercules might be a TF, but officially, it's just another transforming robot that looks like a TF. You can believe what you want, but don't argue with the presupposition that those beliefs are a fact.
Also, Takara's MP-10 was like $250 online. Hasbro's retail MP-10 is $100, which is only 40% of Takara's price tag. If Takara's MP-12 is $100 now, it won't be more than $40 when it's released domestically. Do the smurfin' math.

So a 40% reduction in price is a guarantee you must work for hasbro now or did you break it down to a science. And who said it will release in America hasbro knows a prime figure will sell how about we see if SS makes it to the states b4 we start guessing pricing on a figure that might not sell to well and not make it to the states
I made a reasonable assessment based on the statistics.
