Been working on Sludge's bot head.. still figuring out bot-mode pose - I can't decide..



The lower Sludge head is colored to resemble Rhinox.. He just looked like
Rhinox to me. Maybe Hasbro can do a repaint once they get our designs made into toys..

well, my reservation about submitting it is because he transforms into a spider. nothing mythical about it. then again, I guess the one you have so far isn't really mythical either.

maybe I could make a third mode where he turns into a giant face with 6 wings. ok, so Lucifer wasn't a cherub or a seraph, but that's the only non-humanoid description I know of, and it's freaky-cool.
passage from the bible goes: "...cherubim and seraphim, six-winged and many-eyed, born aloft on thier pinions... (IE: wings)". besides, who says Tarantulas is Lucifer? perhaps he's just another fallen angel/seraph. :> (he sure isn't a cherub)

PS: looked for my spare drawing tablet while I was here. found it, but no pen. found the mouse that goes with it, but it's impossible to use in place of a pen. not sure if the pen is in my apartment or still around here somewhere.

There might be. Remember, the two Snarls are G1 Snarl and BM Snarl and are different characters.

Yeah, but it occurs to me that we have several different eras (as well as geographic locations) represented by the different myth sets, don't we?

Perhaps Tarantulas (and others) simply scanned new forms as the decades passed and/or they moved from one part of the world to another, for whatever reason(s)..?

Well, here I got something more for the topic, it's the sketch of another character for the list, this time is the Wing Convoy's evil twin, Onyx Griffin, well, the robot mode, the beast mode can be barely seen in the back.

The transformation is similar to RiD Bruticus' (Well, more or less xDDD), the griffin's arms become the robot legs, the wings become the arms, the griffin's ass rotates and its cat legs end in the back, the tail becomes sirt of a whip, and the griffin's head ends in the robot's chest.

PD: Damn with that robot head!! I drew it like 10 times! xDDDDDD

Great work Destructor! I like it; and the face is awesome!

I was waiting for someone else to post so I wouldn't be attracting attention to nothing.
I tried to draw the body-type I wanted for a Blackarachnia, but... :S I was sorta thinking of Scaleblade's style of drawing. I wanted it lean and lanky in a few spots, with an overly long neck, broad shoulders, narrow waist, small torso. well developed muscles. I was thinking "Arabian Nights Predator Girl".
I'm not going to post it.

he doesn't look as tall as his G1 version. quite the opposite.

Personally, I love it. I like that his beast mode looks kinda oafy and stupid, while his bot mode is very angry and ape-like.

oooh nice pred version of shin's wing convoy and BBA, ol' Sludge boy is coming alone nice and bestial.

Hehehe, I grabbed my pencil again (I guess I'll have very little chance to do that again till february u_u) and made a better design for my nameless pegasus maximal girl, here's what I've accomplished:

What's remaining to do? The weapons, she has two mace-rifle like weapons, a part of the armor that's attached to her hip, and her beast mode.

Actually looks like you used A.R.C. as a reference for the arms and legs. Or perhaps Microlady? Looks great.

Well, not exactly, actually when I design transformers I tend to look more to "build" a poseable body as much as it can be possible, if you look through my other designs -> http://www.tfmaster.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1572, you'll see that they have more or less the same joints for shoulders (side and forward-backward moving), upper arms (rotating), elbows (forward and backwards), hips (rotate), leg-to-hip joint (sorry, I forgot how to say that one xDD, they move sideways and forward and backward), thights (rotate), and knees (back and forth) ^_^. Yup, I'm used to imagine them as I were seeing the doll.
