AOE or TW Orion maybe ?

Unless it goes with Evasion Mode Prime to complete his G1-ish vehicle look, I can't see it going with any of the AOE Primes. I should think Orion is more likely.

It is certainly more realistic, I suppose, but I'm not sure how I feel about the external rear ramp. Nice touch, though, that it seems to be a working lift gate. Also, three pairs of rear wheels is a little odd.

Overall, though, great looking sculpt. Nice Roller, too! If this comes for any Prime I already own (and don't already have a trailer for), I may be interested.

Looks good but im not sure I need it. I have the G3, BTS, and x-overgen trailers plus 4 versions of city commanders. My orion could use a more G1 trailer to go with his new head I preordered. How well the colors match orion will depend on whether or not I get this. I dont buy trailers for movie primes.

I suppose it will also matter what toy it actually is designed to go with, yes? As it will need to be able to scale with and connect to Optimus's cab. But, as I stated in my earlier post, I'd not be surprised if Orion was the one this is being made for, so hopefully you should be fine. (Mind you, this is pure speculation.)

I never bought a separate third party trailer... But I did buy a much more expensive, import version of the Voyager Mechtech Prime to get a version that came with an official trailer... Does that count?

I don't even have my movie Primes on display anymore, I needed the space so they had to go. (If I ever have more space again, though, I'd consider unpacking them again.) Evasion Mode Prime is the only AOE toy I am even considering, and even that isn't 100% certain. I'd justify it by saying that, with his vehicle mode, he could still fit in with the other Primes I do have on display.

Almost all my movie stuff is packed away as well. I only keep my 2007 leader primes on display on the top of the shelf. I do like evasion mode prime and the new target chrome prime. I have them out to enjoy them but not in any particular display. My ROTF leader prime is still MISB because i find its transformation to be more intimidating than intimidator himself. I got it on clearance for 35 back in the day. One day Ill bust him open before the battery causes damage.

FP's G3 Trailer still works well with TW's Optimus Prime. I see no need for this.

I gave the G3 trailer to my blue diaclone classics prime. Henkei prime is in trailerforces tummy. If this turns out nice, maybe Orion will get a trailer. So hows that botcon orange prime ? My non attendee package hasnt even shjpped yet. I called funpub and they said they need to unloadthe sets out of the truck. I dont understand the logic why they would load non attendee sets in the truck in the first place. Unless the "truck" is really a shipping container placed right on a bed of wheels and never opened until botcon.

The wheels look very Orion to me, good of them to rip off BTS's Roller gimmick.

I don't think they did. I will admit that I had that thought when first looking at the shot of the underside of the back of the trailer, but then when I saw the shot of the Roller that comes with this, it looks completely different.

The shape of the area around the wheels doesn't look at all like that Roller. Plus, the trailer features twelve wheeles and the Roller, only six.

It would be nice to see a shot of the entire trailer. And I actually like the 3 axles in the back. I always thought that was a good look, trailers Down Under mainly use those for maximum load capacity on road trains.

Never liked regular trailer that don't form any armor parts for the Optimus super robot mode. Think paying 3rd party prices for a Optimus trailer that does nothing or splits in half to form a repair bay is the biggest joke ripp off of the century.

I somewhat agree. I always end up displaying most of my Primes in bot mode, so I end up with a useless brick of a trailer sitting around somewhere. I will admit that I bought a couple of them (the G3 one and the more G1 looking one that has those mirror looking panels to make it 'disappear' like in the cartoon) but neither one of them ever really gets used. They just sit there on the back of a shelf, just as the trailer for my MP-10 does.

I wouldn't really call it a rip-off because people know exactly what they're getting when they fork over their money for one, and I'm sure most of those that do are well aware of what uses they'll get out of it (and they'll probably use it more often than I do

), but for someone like me that doesn't play with my toys much and keeps them mostly in their bot modes (and not inside 'repair bays' or 'battle platforms'

), there's very little desire to own them and therefor I simply won't buy them (even though I did buy those other two, hehe).

Anyway, I'm guessing this trailer is definitely either for this Optimus Prime, this Optimus Prime, or this Optimus Prime. Then again, I could be way off and it may in fact be for this Optimus Prime.

Anyway, trailers are awesome. Long live trailers!

Any G1 style Optimus that doesn't have a reimagined alt mode (such as eHobby Orion Pax, Alternaters/Binaltech, Sports Label, or Alternity) that doesn't have a trailer is just naked, especially in alt mode! (And I am of the opinion that both modes are important to a figure, or why else have them be Transformers?)

So if this happens to be for a Prime I own (or plan to own) that doesn't already have a trailer, it seems a pretty obvious item of interest as far as I am concerned.

Also, please say you are jesting on your suggestions on which Prime the trailer could be for? A bear, a pen, a Bayverse protoform (admittedly with prettier colours) and a non-transforming SD figure are ones that, even to a huge trailer fan such as myself, are hardly in need of such an accessory.

Ah, then I must have gotten that one and the BTS trailer (the futuristic looking one) mixed up. I have them both and I always think that the futuristic looking one is the G3 trailer just because G3 sounds like something more 'futuristic' or something.

. I was about to add Optimash Prime (the Mr Potato Head Optimus) as well but figured I had enough already.

The headline of an article over at TFormers.com suggests that this is for the leader class AOE Optimus Prime. If this is the case, I suppose I'm not planning on getting this, and any remaining interest is purely academic. Don't get me wrong, from what I've seen thus far it is a nice looking trailer! But as much as I do love me a trailer, it needs to go with an Optimus I actually want.
