Bio: Groove dreams of being a wanderer, roaming freely under the open skies of any world that strikes his fancy. Although he appreciates all the friends he makes, Groove doesn't settle down in any one spot too long because he wants to move on to the next exciting new experience that life has to offer. He's an easygoing, poetic robot who can find something happy about basically anywhere. Except where there's war. The battle between the Autobots and Decepticons has robbed Groove of his chance to travel freely because he's committed to being a part of the Protectobot team until the conflict is resolved, and it's forced him to endure the horrors of combat on an almost daily basis. For the tranquil pacifistic Groove, this is the worst thing he could ever have to witness, and he struggles with it constantly. He and his closest friend on the team, First Aid, have discussed at length the nature of war and what better options might be- to no avail. Groove hates violence, and he finds it hard to mesh his beliefs with his role as an Autobot. When he sees mechanoids like Blades reveling in the fury and chaos of war, Groove feels utterly alienated and alone, wondering what the point of it all it.
Holomatter Avatar: A young man in his early 20s wearing a full state highway patrol uniform with helmet. He has medium-length brown hair and a thin goattee.
Weapons/Abilities: Subject has great intelligence and he is an accomplished scout and infiltrator. As a motorcycle, he has incredible maneuverability and can travel and 140 mph for up to 800 miles. In both modes he has access to his two vaporator cannons; they shoot concentrated streams of corrosive, freezing or oxidizing liquids. Subject can target these with precision at particularly vulnerable areas, allowing him to disable foes without too much conflict. In robot mode he wields a photon pistol that can temperarily blind most Transformers.
Weaknesses: Subject is often reluctant to fight back when under attack, trying to reason with his opponent or otherwise find a nonviolent solution. This puts him in very dangerous situations on a regular basis.
Sample:
Earth- Somewhere in New Mexico
This was one of the few times Groove got any real enjoyment from his job. He hated having to find enemy locations, since it almost always led to a violent battle, needless wastes of life and pointless destruction. But he absolutely loved exploring the landscapes, especially in this part of the planet.
The rock formations in this region are truly amazing. Such exquisite shapes and shades and colors. Any Cybertronian architect would give their own spark just to dream up such impossible geometric patterns as these. Yet no hand played any part in their creation. On this planet, the greatest designer is nature itself.
As Groove enjoyed the beauty that surrounded him, he was soon reminded of why he was really here. High above him several jets flew above him- Earth jets, at least by design. But so many aircraft in such a remote area, with no military bases or conflicts nearby, was just too much of a coincidence. Though standard procedure required him to contact Autobot headquarters, Groove decided to delay in the hopes of preventing an unnecessary battle.
"By Primus I hope those are the human's aircraft." Groove said to himself, "The landscape doesn't need to be altered by missiles or laser fire."
Even at his maximum speed Groove didn't have any chance of keeping up with whatever was flying ahead. Luckily there was a trail of exhaust fumes in the sky for the scout to follow. After a few miles of following on the highway, the trail led into the rock formations that Groove had admired so much. Going off the road, the Protectobot motorcycle had to slow down since his vehicle mode wasn't meant for this type of driving.
Human or Decepticon, this would be a good location to hide something. All the mountains and hills, almost no settlements in the area. Excellent place if you don't want anyone around.
As if someone could read his mind, a laser was shot and just missed Groove. Sure that there weren't any humans around, Groove transformed to his robot mode. He couldn't see anyone, human or Cybertronian, so he raised his hands in the air.
"Whoever you are, I mean you no harm." Groove announced to whoever was around, "This is a beautiful land and we do not need to ruin it with any show of force. Please show yourself, and let's talk this out without any violence, please."

Profile: Scattershot needs no desktop generals or academy-trained slag skimmers to tell him how to fight. He just wades into a Decepticon patrol and doesn't come out until every last blade, every last round and every last Decepticon is left a broken wreck upon the ground. That is his idea of a strategy. Just keep pounding the enemy till they break, who needs complex tactics when you got fists of cybertronium?
Grimlock would certainly like his style, and even the tin-plated bucketheads that think he's a blustering buffoon must admit that Scattershot is uniquely tough, the sort that Rollbar would say "broke the mold he was poured in". He won't stop fighting until he's utterly spent, down to his last microjoule of energy and drop of energon. He expects no less from the Technobots under his command.
Abilities: A brawling, bragging berserker... he wades into a Decepticon patrol with all barrels blazing, doesn't stop until he's out of ammo. Calls those who disapprove of his methods 'tinplated bucketheads.' Rude, gruff, and direct. In vehicle and battle station Modes, has electron pulse cannon in nosecone; array of sonic, thermal and artillery shell guns. In robot Mode, has 500 rounds-per-minute automatic acid-pellet gun. He can fly at a maximum speed of 1,900 mph, with a range of 10,000 miles.
Weaknesses: Quick to fight, even if he's out gunned and out classed, will bite off more than he can process and will not withdrawl unless dragged.
Sample Post:
Scattershot stared down the barrel of the gun. His fists clinched almost to breaking as the sneer danced across his lips. They pursed briefly before he gathered lubricant from the depths and hocked the black goo upon the concrete floor.
He was outnumbered, five Decepticon soldiers had managed to block him into a corner... their guns trained on his torso as they gloated about his perdicament. His shoulder twitched briefly as the lead Decepticon smirked in a smug manner, clearly daring the Technobot Commander to try something crazy... and he was most happy to oblige.
Scattershot rolled to his right as the mechanism pulled the trigger to his rifle. He placed his hand upon the barrel and twisted it down as he drove his titanium fist straight into the jaw plate of the Decepticon squad leader. He then spun the dislodged weapon around and proceeded to drive it against the skull of the dazed corporal. The commander attempted to recover, but Scattershot was already in a fluid motion. The fragments of the broken weapon was driven deep into the shoulder joint severing several connections and loosing a spray of energon. To finalize his motion, his fist drove deep into the wounded mechanism's ruined shoulder and tore a large chunk of machinery free from their lodgings. As the mech crumpled to the floor, Scattershot simply looked at the shocked followers. "Alright fellas, who's next." He allowed the fragments to fall to the floor, his smeer turning to a self satisfied smirk as the thrill of battle was now upon him.

Profile: As a result of his very disciplined training in the dangerous but vital job of thermal-energy magma miner back on Cybertron, Nosecone has developed into a very careful warrior. He's slow and methodical in everything he does, weathering enemy artillery fire with the same calm that he exhibits when his fellow Autobots criticize him for his apparent laziness. His attempts to explain his cautious tactics to them usually fall on deaf audio modules and elicit good-natured laughter, But then, Nosecone doesn't realize that his friends are just having a little fun at his expense: Autobots appreciate results, and when Nosecone finishes turning an enemy fortification into steel Swiss cheese, the results of his efforts are unmistakable... and the respect granted to him by his fellow Autobots is obvious.
Abilities: In vehicle mode, Nosecone's most distinctive feature is also his most formidable asset: his durabyllium-steel alloy drill can pierce almost any material, and it is virtually indestructible. He also packs two rocket-propelled missiles that use a videocom tracking system to lock on to targets. He's slow of speed, but his treads can carry him across any terrain and up the steepest slopes. In robot mode, he is armed with a high-powered X-ray laser pistol.
Weaknesses: Nosecone's slowness often lands him in the middle of trouble- namely, a Decepticon artillery barrage. And although his drill is impervious to most weapons fire, his treads aren't, so he often is left immobilized. He also has a tendency to overheat while drilling through very dense substances.
Sample Post:
Nebulos Jungle Area, Underground
Drilling away at seemingly endless dirt, grime and whatnot, Nosecone made his way slowly to the point that Scattorshot originally said for him to go, where was that again? Right, there was a Decepticon fortification using Geothermal Energy to power itself, and give off some extra to supply it's troops above him.
Making his way slowly around the specified area, Nosecone began to smell something he recognized from his early days as a miner, Sulfur. Of course there was Sulfur down here, there had to be magma around here though, considering the conditions that apply in creating the vile smelling substance.
He proceeded in a star shaped pattern until he had successfully hollowed out a large chamber supported only by two pedestals in the center, also holding the fortification up.
He had no reason to worry if there were slaves being held, since the fort was a factory only, and there was no room to hold them to keep the small and compact size.
Suddenly, the floor began to crack, and red-orange light began to peek in from them.
There is the magma, so that explains the Sulfur and the Geothermal energy. He thought calmly as he began to exit the chamber.
He transformed and faced the large pedestals in the center, and locked onto them with his two missiles, and fired. A whirling sound came from each as they sped toward their designated targets and exploded soon afterwards, obliterating the only supports holding the fort up. Thus the ceiling began to crack and bulge. Finally, the ceiling gave way and the fort fell through the ceiling, and through the floor, and ironically, into the Magma that it was drawing energy from. Carrying the Decepticon troops with it.
Nosecone simply looked over the edge at the sinking fort calmly. After the fort was fully submerged, he simply turned away and transformed and slowly went to where he first came.
>>Mission Accomplished, Commander.<< Nosecone said through a comm link to Scattorshot.

Abilities: He is capable of reaching his top speed of five hundred miles an hour in 8 seconds. Lightspeed is capable of processing battle information faster than the rest of his Technobot brethren. The information is correlated and filed allowing him to devise team strategies and tactics even if his leader will not listen. In robot mode, he wields a proton rifle with a magnetic sight that locks on to iron-bearing targets, such as most enemy Decepticons.
History/Profile: Widely admired for his intelligence, dashing good looks and cool-headedness, Lightspeed is thought to be the model Autobot soldier. But Lightspeed thinks otherwise... for beneath that shiny chrome and steel exterior beats the fuel pump of a tormented soul. Although he appreciates the vital function he fulfills in his ground vehicle mode-processing data and shuttling it to various Autobot bases- he longs to take leave of the surface world and fly. His secret ambition is to explore the vast gulfs of space and uncover the mysteries of the universe. His talents are used best for the analysis of known data to reach conclusions and offer advice on how to solve the situation at hand. He has gained a reputation for being a solid repository for information, when he's not day- dreaming of the cold vacuum of space.
Weaknesses: Lightspeed has an allergic reaction to energon, the primary fuel source of all Transformers, and to most other fuels as well, but to a lesser degree. He must always take a special lead sulfide additive when refueling. Otherwise, his engine experiences severe knocking and he'll break out in a rust rash.
Sample Post:
Lightspeed watched as an assortment of planetary imagery sifted its way across the screens in front of him. From all appearances, Nebulos looked like a lush, peaceful planet. Though he was not incredibly excited about the prospect of leaving the vast expanses of space and everything he had been able to experience while out here, it was something new. Besides, from Scattershot’s earlier brief, it sounded like they were just heading there to check in with the Autobot camps, make sure everything was okay and then head back to meet up with the Steelhaven and whatever Fortress Maximus’ next project would prove to be.
Simple enough.
“This place looks nice,” Lightspeed said, pointing out the images to some of the other Technobots on the bridge. “Looks like a vacation planet. Might not be so bad to spend an orn or two here. If it weren’t for the non-intervention protocols, I’d recommend we meet up with the locals and have them give us a real tour of their home.”
Vacation or no, Lightspeed definitely intended to get some solid resting and relaxing done for as long as he was able on this little errand. The grindstone would be returned to soon enough.

Rank: 5.0
Profile: Before you walk up and say hello to Strafe, you'd better run for cover... because this high-strung, hair-trigger Technobot is more likely to spray you with weapons fire than shake your hand. He's not mean or murderous in nature… he's just nervous. Too much quiet makes his circuits tingle and sudden noises can cause him to pop a few plugs. So rather than remain calm in these situations, Strafe has developed the annoying habit of shooting first and asking questions later. And that's too bad, because once he lowers his guns, Strafe becomes one of the kindest, gentlest Autobots of all. Unfortunately, few ever get close enough to him to find this out for themselves.
Abilities: Oddly enough, despite all his wild shooting sprees, Strafe is an expert marksman. When he wants to, he can burn a hole through a screw head from two miles away with the searing beam of the heat-ray rifle that he carries in robot mode. In his vehicle mode, he yields two light-pulse blasters and can achieve a maximum ground speed of 250 mph. He can also engage his rear retro-rocket boosters, which allow him to fly at a maximum speed of 580 mph with a 3,000 mile range. In all his modes, he exhibits lightning-fast reflexes and can outmaneuver a heat-seeking missile, making a right turn at maximum flying speed in the space of a quarter-mile.
Weaknesses: Strafe has a tendency to stall in mid-air during some of his more daring maneuvers. The wasteful manner in which he uses his weapons often leaves him lacking ammunition in battle situations when he truly needs it.
Sample Post:
Training Facility
Strafe knew that it was only a simulation. He had, after all, programmed the computer himself before entering the training room. However, it still didn’t stop his usual nervousness or alleviate his hair-trigger tendencies. It had become very quiet across the faux battlefield, which made it even worse for the aerial gunner as he hid behind a large chunk of fallen debris, his heat-ray rifle at the ready. The holo-cons were out there somewhere just waiting for the right opportunity to strike at him, unless, of course, he struck at them first.
Taking a deep breath, Strafe peered over top of the debris shield and immediately spotted a group of shadows advancing towards his position. Without hesitation, the anxiety-filled mech rose up from his hiding place and opened fire, spraying the entire field with blazing beams of pure death. One by one, the holo-cons fell into smoldering heaps of scrap amongst the rest of the rubble on the ground. Strafe only ceased firing when there was no more movement within his line of sight.
“Now that’s how you do it,” the Technobot said as his anxiety subsided slightly. Naturally, that didn’t last long as a sudden noise then came from behind him, causing Strafe to spin around and unload more weapons fire on his unsuspecting adversary. He quickly stopped his attack when he realized who it was that had startled him. “Afterburner! Ah frag, I’m sorry! I didn’t know you were in here. I thought you were just a holo-con,” Strafe said, lowering his heat-ray rifle before noticing that his normally irritated comrade had not come out of the friendly fire incident unscathed. “Um, you may want to have that arm looked at down in the med bay." Gulp. "Please don’t kill me.”

Profile: Silverbolt is scared of heights. It is this one trait; above all else, that determines the rest of his behavior. He projects the image of a brave, grimly determined warrior, befitting his role as Aerialbot Commander. In truth, he is just that. But it is a constant struggle for him to maintain this persona, to never falter or show any sign of emotional weakness to those he leads. Helped by the sleek, aerodynamic jet form that makes him appear to be a natural-born flyer, Silverbolt knows that everything about him belies even a hint of the existence of his phobia. And, in fact, no one is aware he has this problem, except Optimus Prime. It is for that reason the Autobot Commander selected Silverbolt to lead the Aerialbots- Optimus figured if Silverbolt felt responsible for the welfare of others, he'd have less time to worry about himself. Given that Silverbolt is an excellent leader, Optimus was right.
Abilities: In jet mode, Silverbolt can reach Mach 1.9 and has a range of 4500 miles. He carries on his underside an electrostatic battery, which allows him to strip electrons from air molecules as he's flying and store them. He can then direct this stored charge through his nose cone as a powerful bolt of electricity. He's capable of storing and releasing up to 150,000 volts at a time. He's especially effective in lightning storms, due to their abundance of charged particles. He carries an electrostatic discharger rifle in robot mode that has the same capability. He combines with the other Aerialbots to form the giant robot known as Superion.
Weaknesses: As long as Silverbolt is busy leading or fighting, he's fine, but when he's simply flying, particularly by himself, his fear of heights begins to manifest it. The effect can be devastating: he might start flying wildly, go into a tailspin or even crash.
Sample Post:
Silverbolt looks around on the Guardian shaking his head at the recent events. He was too shocked at the news of Prime's apparent death to even contribute to the meeting. What will the Autobots do now? Getting the Ark-19 back together in one piece was crucial and the idea of tagging the Cons while they were down was a nice plan but to select a new leader will be the most difficult thing for the Autobots. Silverbolt enters the practice room and sees his Aerialbots keeping up their shooting skills.
"I thought you were going to do that with one hand around your back, Slingshot."
"Oh come on now, Air Raid, can't you simply admit that I'm the best there is and no one can prove it otherwise?"
"Remember, Slingshot, you still need to practice just not your shooting but the timing and placing of your shots. You need to think of where you are shooting. Air Raid, sometimes I wonder if you think at all with the crazy stunts you pull. Admittedly, they are crazy enough that most of the Seekers don't expect them either but sometimes you are as dangerous in the sky as Fireflight is at times."
Fireflight looks out the cloeset window and just looks at the Earth below ignoring everything going around him.
"Anyone know when we'll bounce back down there? For being a mudball, Earth is a beautiful planet to look around even from this location."
"Right now, troops, we are trying to figure out what the next job is for everyone. Things are a bit crazy as you know with the Ark-19 needing repairs and many of us needing them as well."
The Aerialbots all stand up straight and salute as Silverbolt answers Fireflight's inquiry.
"At ease, I know that we aren't used to being cramped up on a craft like this. This unit likes the air and prefer flying."
Silverbolt looks down a little as he says the last part. He has to keep it together especially with the latest dire news.
"Once Prowl figures out what everyone is doing, I'll let you all know. There are plans in the works with just the details left to be sorted."

Profile: Air Raid loves surprises. He prefers to suddenly streak into a cluster of Decepticons, whether they're airborne or on the ground, over shooting at them from long range. "That always sparks their wires a bit," he laughs. Of all the Aerialbots, his tactics are the most fearless, although some might call them rash and foolish. No matter- his gung-ho, wild-eyed personality legitimizes either viewpoint. At the core of his actions is one goal that drives him above all else- he wants to have fun! And no matter what he's involved in, he achieves that goal- even in the middle of a war.
Abilities: Air Raid can fly at speeds of up to Mach 2.5 and has a range of 1500 miles. He can shoot air-to-air heat-seeking missiles and, in robot mode, carries a torque rifle whose beam can apply up to 80,000 psi of rotational force to any object. Only the strongest materials can withstand warping and breaking under such pressure.
Weaknesses: His reckless behavior often leaves Air Raid exposed to greater odds than he can reasonably expect to handle.

Profile: Skydive is more interested in reading about jet fighters than being one, He's more likely to have his face stuck in a book about World War II air battles than to be in the air himself. It's not that he's a coward- he's just fascinated by the science of aerial warfare. But even though he's a somewhat reluctant member of the Aerialbot team, he is invaluable- his knowledge of aerial military tactics is without equal. The other Aerialbots constantly look to him to plan strategy, a responsibility Skydive sometimes finds to be daunting given his extreme modesty. His biggest fault, if you could call it that, is he doesn't realize how smart he really is. At least everyone else around him does.
Abilities: The information-storage capacity of Skydive's cerebro-circuitry is greater than most Transformers'. This enables him to record instantaneously any flying motions he sees, and, within the limits of his design, duplicate them himself. Thus, he's able to simulate the techniques of World War II aces he's studied on film as well as the gliding patterns of birds he's watched in person. He is possibly the most skilled flyer of all the flying Transformers. His maximum speed is Mach 2.6 and range is 1400 miles. In jet mode, he can shoot laser-guided missiles with a range of 80 miles. In robot mode, he uses a nega-gun, which shoots a beam that cancels the bonding force between molecules. Only objects held together by the strongest molecular bonds can resist crumbling to dust when hit by the beam.
Weaknesses: Sometimes, in duplicating the flight of another, Skydive pushes his design beyond its limits. This often results in mid-air stalls. He can usually recover before crashing, but while stalled, he is completely vulnerable to attack.

Profile: If Aerialbots needed pilot's licenses, Fireflight would certainly never have gotten his. He's a definite hazard in the skies. He becomes mesmerized by the spectacular views he sees from above, and, consequently, often pays little attention to where he's going, leading to near-crashes with buildings, mountains, even other aircraft. Only constant prodding by his fellow Aerialbots keeps Fireflight's mind on his assigned tasks. But they can't get angry at him- they realize his carelessness is a result of what humans would call "a childlike sense of wonder," and they can hardly fault him for that. Still, flying alongside him is definitely unnerving to the other Aerialbots; "Sometimes I wonder whose side he's on," says Skydive.
Abilities: Fireflight can fly at speeds up to Mach 2.0 with a range of 1000 miles. In jet mode, he can shoot missiles that explode and release a mist of highly flammable liquid he calls "fire-fog." In robot mode, he uses a photon displacer gun, which severely distorts visual images by altering the course of photons in light waves. Anyone within the vicinity of a blast from this gun would not be able to see things as they actually are until after the gun's effects wear off, which can take up to five minutes.
Weaknesses: As well as being a danger to others. Fireflight is even more of a danger to himself. He just flies badly. And any human passengers inside his cockpit would all too quickly discover this fact- his sudden jerks, jolts, hairpin turns and rapid velocity changes can easily result in a severe neck sprain, at the very least. His poor flying technique also makes him very fuel inefficient.

Profile: Slingshot won't ever win a Mr. Popularity contest. He's an incessant braggart, even when he's done absolutely nothing to brag about. He likes to take credit for the exploits of others, a thoroughly annoying habit that never fails to elicit animosity from his fellow Aerialbots. Most of the other Autobots are also aware of Slingshot's rotten personality and would prefer he removed himself from their struggle against the Decepticons. But, much to the surprise of almost everyone, Autobot leader Optimus Prime turns a blind optical sensor to Slingshot's faults, and instead is very supportive of him. Optimus Prime realizes, and he may be the only one who does, that Slingshot acts this way to disguise his own lack of confidence- he's the slowest and has the least range of all the Aerialbots and feels inferior as a result. Despite everything else, Slingshot is a loyal and hardworking soldier, qualities that Optimus Prime believes merit his understanding and trust.
Abilities: Slingshot is a VTOL- a vertical take-off-and-landing aircraft, which means he can shoot straight up off the ground like a rocket and needs only a launching pad, not a long runway, to take off from and land upon. Although the slowest of the Aerialbots- his maximum speed is Mach 1.6- he's the most maneuverable. He can virtually turn, in mid-air, on the proverbial dime. His range is 800 miles. He is also the best sharpshooter of the Aerialbots- his twin mortar cannons can hit a highway stop sign six miles away. In robot mode, he uses with extreme accuracy a neutron rifle, which shoots packets of neutrons at two hundred rounds per second. A short barrage can level a city block.
Weaknesses: Slingshot's unorthodox method of flying takes its toll on his equipment- he requires 50% more maintenance than his fellow Aerialbots. Their dislike for him often results in their leaving him behind in dangerous situations to fend for himself.
I know that Superion will come later so you can ignore any mention of the character. These are for NPC purpose only.

He'll drag them around while in helicopter mode, dangling them over treacherous terrain while spinning about wildly. Disoriented and terrified, Autobot soldiers are often willing to spill any information to get the "ride" to stop. Not surprisingly, the only thing Vortex likes more than the interrogation itself is its completion, when he drops his victims to their deaths. However, interrogation is just one aspect of this highly skilled Decepticon. Vortex is an experienced soldier, while he specializes in air to ground combat, he is also effective air to air combatant and able to hold his own on melee combat as well through skill despite possessing only average strength and endurance.
Abilities: In vehicle mode subject is highly maneuverable and travels at speeds of 500 miles per hour for more than 1200 miles. Rotor blades possess the ability to create 200-300mph wind funnels, powerful enough to lift a locomotive off its rails - that subject has moderate control over. In both robot and vehicle modes, subject is armed with semi-automatic glue gun which shoots capsules of highly adhesive liquid that will cement anything it hits to anything its target touches and twin cannons. His extremely durable rotors are made to endure the enormous stresses that creating wind funnels cause to them and are thus also available to him as melee weapons.
Weaknesses: Subject exhibits no known physical weaknesses.

"I don't know anything... I I swear it."
They were words that he had heard trillions of times on hundreds of darkened worlds through a countless number of hallways. It was always the same plee for mercy, for release. Proclaimations of the innocent or vain claims of ignorance, he knew they were hollow and not but ash upon their processors.
Vortex pressed the tip of his rotor blade deeper into the remaining hydraulic ram that connected his victim's arm to the rest of his body. A simple twist would pop it off and cause him to move onto the last optic the mechanism enjoyed. "I will not ask again." His wrist twitched and the blade severed the connection. The sheer melodic scream of pain was an opera to his core. "Oops, It looks like you're about to be out of time."
"Al... alright, I will tell you what I know. It was Guzzle.. I swear it. He took the last energon oxidizer." The mechanism shivered as vital fluids began to leak upon the darkened floors of the base from which they now inhabited.
Vortex withdrew his blade from the critical wounds and allowed the mech to fall to the floor with a sickening thud. He stepped back and his sneer turned to a satisfied smile. "Well then, why didn't you say so to begin with. We could have avoided this entire misunderstanding." He pivoted on his heel and began to walk away. He stopped briefly as the mech behind him struggled to his broken tread. "But since you saw fit to waste my valuable time..." He pressed the red button on the side of the wall and smiled even further as the floor grid below the wounded mech gave way.
The scream was brief and enjoyable. The sudden puff of smoke and acrid stench of molten metal and wire, gave him solice. "Maybe I should have recorded that to lull me to sleep at night."

Profile: Quick to anger and even quicker to attack, Afterburner isn't one to wait around for orders. Confident his heavy armor protects him, he likes to turn up his speed and burst through enemy lines, firing away as he plunges through. But his defiance doesn't end there. He's generally uncooperative in every way and his nasty temper only makes things worse. He's a decidedly disruptive machine. Technobot Leader Scattershot is often compelled to take disciplinary measures and forcibly confine Afterburner for periods of time. This only intensifies Afterburner's hatred of authority, and of Scattershot in particular. Afterburner often takes off on his own and invariably gets into some kind of trouble unrelated to the Autobots' war with the Decepticons. Afterburner is a rebel with a cause, but one that he all too often chooses to ignore.
Abilities: In his vehicle mode, Afterburner uses solid rocket fuel packs to boost his speed up to 450 mph for several minutes at a time. A special adhesive substance secreted by his tires allows him to drive up all but the most slippery walls. He carries two laser-guided incendiary missiles and a rapid-fire plasma pulse cannon, which shoots discrete packets of energy that explode on contact. In robot mode, he uses a semi-automatic sonic blaster pistol with infrared sight. He combines with his fellow
Weaknesses: Afterburner's impetuous, defiant nature usually works to his disadvantage. He often winds up in situations where he is clearly overmatched by his enemies. He occasionally runs out of fuel, a result of his careless nature. He sometimes goes on uncontrolled shooting binges that wind up harming him (from the powerful recoil of his weapons) more than his enemies
Sample Post: Well this really bites the energon, Afteburner thought as he sat on the lone seat in the isolation chamber. Previously used to house prisoners of war and political prisoners before that the thick metal walls wore the scars of their share of escape attempts. The craftsmanship was something to be admired, perhaps his teammate Lightspeed would gain some joy out of the mathematics associated with the design. At any rate, none of it mattered to him except that he was locked inside the chamber.
For days he remained sitting there, stewing over being thrown in here at the hands of his “leader” Scattershot and for what? Striking him? What kind of insult was that. Had he wanted to hurt Scattershot he would’ve been a pile of slag. Still, the time alone allowed him to process his actions and the appropriate consequences. He’d take out his frustrations on the Decepticons the next time he saw them.
The approach of footfalls in the hallway told him his stay was almost over. When they came to a stop outside and the heavy set door opened he turned his attention to the figure outlined by the hallway lights.
“Ready Afterburner?”
Scattershot. Afterburner shrugged as he stood and strode towards the door. “I’ve been in worse. Maybe next time you could arrange a fembot to stay with me.” He allowed his shoulder to bump into his superior’s as he passed but neither wanted to make a further incident out of it for the time being.

Profile: The crackling sound of fused body parts short-circuiting is a sure sign of Shrapnel's work ... and is music to his audio modules, the characteristic quirk of Shrapnel’s speech, the eerie and sibilant way he repeats the last word of every sentence, is actually the least disturbing thing about him. He’s fascinated by the power of electricity, especially its effects on living subjects. He uses his amazing mastery over electricity to painfully dismantle his foes, one charred circuit at a time. In fact, whether he's scrambling microchips or shattering an armoured torso, it is the noise of war, the scream of his victim that Shrapnel considers the true rewards of his work. He relishes these sounds much the same way an actor relishes applause. The pitiful wails resulting from his evil handiwork elicit unabashed glee in Shrapnel, whose terrifying battle cry can be heard for almost 8 miles when he gets excited. Shrapnel's immense power combined with his addiction to conflict more than make up for the intelligence gap between himself and his long-time partners Bombshell and Kickback, making him just as dangerous, if not more, in combat.
Abilities: Subject’s twin antennae are able to attract, generate and control electrical current. On their own, they can generate up to 40,000 volts of energy and can channel even more current in proper weather conditions. By careful manipulation, Subject can use his antennae to control almost all electrically powered mechanical devices. In insect mode he can fly up to 50 miles at up to 100mph. In robot mode, he can send a bolt of searing, raw, channeled electricity towards a foe through his hands. He also wields a grenade launcher that fires 30 lb steel shells. The shells explode in mid-air and shower targets with thousands of razor sharp projectiles, tearing most armor to shreds. With his high strength and electrical power, Shrapnel is physically the most dangerous Insecticon.
Weaknesses: Insulating materials, such as rubber and glass, can be used to thwart Shrapnel's electronic assaults. Also, his habit of making his presence known audibly makes him an obvious target.
Sample Post:
"FALL BEFORE SHRAPNEL, SHRAPNEL!"
The Insecticon's cry of war echoed throughout the ruined halls as he continued to rain crackling bolts of energy upon his foe.
"I'll never lose to a creep like you!" Pyro cried out from behind the twisted piles of steel he was using for cover.
"We'll see, see," Shrapnel giggled. He kicked aside the broken torso of one of the Autobot's late comrades as he forged a path through the rubble towards his prey.
Despite his injuries, the Autobot was putting up a decent fight, Shrapnel admitted. He's lasted much longer than expected- but that just makes the win that much sweeter.
His momentary lapse of though was a timely mistake, however, and as Shrapnel began fantasizing about this next meal, Pyro leaned out from his cover and fired a desperate shot into the storm of lightning that oppressed him, catching Shrapnel on the shoulder and causing him to stumble- as well as creating a break in the Con's steady fire. Seeing what could possible be his only opportunity to get out alive, Pyro stumbled out into the open, and with a scream that was half from rage and half from pain, he threw himself at his enemy.
But his injuries had taken their toll on him, and he was not as quick as he he thought. Before the Autobot could reach his enemy, Shrapnel regained his balance and threw his arms at his charging foe, lightning lancing from his fingertips, and grabbed Pyro by the head with both hands.
"SCREAM, SCREAM," the Insecticon ordered. And with that, he sent 30,000 volts of electricity coursing through the Autobot's body, who had no choice but to obey Shrapnel's command. "How does it feel, feel?" Shrapnel sneered, bathing himself in the cries of his captive. "Because I tell you, it feels good to me, me."
"I'll never give up!" Pyro growled through gritted teeth. Then with a trembling arm, he lifted his pistol, and pointed it at Shrapnel's chestplate.
"You seem tired, Autobot, Autobot," Shrapnel chuckled, cutting off the flow of electricity and easily pulling the gun out from Pyro's shaking servo. "You should really take a nap and recharge, recharge." Exhausted and close to stasis lock, Pyro slumped to the ground, too weak to resist. "Night-night, Autobot, Autobot," Shrapnel crooned, raising the pistol and setting the barrel against Pyro's forehead with a soft CLANK.
"Don't let the bot-bugs bite, bite."

Profile: A member of Cybertron's forgotten. Homeless, casteless and without peer on all the face of Cybertron. At least until he met Gasket and his gang. There they merged to form a relentless rabble who did what it took to survive in the degrading streets of the magnificent cities of Cybertron. When Gasket was killed by the very police assigned with the duty to safeguard the inhabitants of the city, gunned down for saving the life of a suspected thief, Deadlock drew the fallen weapons of a disarmed officer, and proceeded to eliminate the rest of the patrol in merciless fashion. It was this act that cemented his opinion with regards to the rot within Cybertronian Government... and this act that drew the attention of Megatron.
Years have passed since that fateful incident... and Deadlock has steadily risen through the ranks. He is feared on both sides of the conflict, as merciless warrior who rarely gives quarter... even to his allies. He is one of Megatron's most trusted warriors, given the most difficult tasks, knowing full well that he will accomplish his mission. Currently Deadlock is assigned under the banner of Turmoil, a ruthless Decepticon in his own right... an assignment he laments regularly. He believes Turmoil is too cautious. The Autobots and their symbol of the debotchery they represent must be erradicated whatever the cost, and the approach taken by the Decepticon Navy, in particularly Turmoil is too slow and too wasteful. However though he fills his duties, he consistantly clashes with his commanding officer, disobeying orders and taking the fight to the enemy regularly.
However though he pushes his luck and his loyalty to the Decepticons to the limit, he is not a believer in conquest. He believes that Cybertron should be changed for the better and that the Autobots had their chance. He fights for a world without want and without the victims of greed and selfish caste lords. He fights for a world for the people, by the people... and if he has to kill every last Autobot to achieve this goal, so be it.
Abilities: Deadlock is a master soldier. Aggressive, assertive and deadly. Wades into Autobot forces as if they are water, and brushes them off equally as well. Fights with a cold murderous cunning that Megatron feels needs to be further cultivated and expanded. However his greatest attribute is the ideals he fights for. To that end, he will employ every shell, casing and tactical pathway of his processors to bring the downfall of the Autobots to reality.
Weaknesses: Has no physical weaknesses, not entirely dedicated to the ideals of Empire.
Sample Post: Deadlock shifted his weight impatiently on the bridge of the Interdictor Severance. His arms were folded across his chest as his optics narrowed at the vision before him. A small Autobot frigate had reportedly been detected entering the system... and given the picket vessel that had made the initial report, the Pestilence, a bunch of insect cannon fodder, he was more inclined to leave it as it was... allowing the bugs to have their fun. Well perhaps not all the fun. The truth be told, he was getting bored waiting. The Severance was assigned to hold position at the furthest edge of the planet's gravitational field in order to prevent communications from the planet surface to reach Autobot terminals.
Still if it was an Autobot vessel entering the system he determined that it was safer to reposition his ship to counter any potential report they were able to compile. "Helm," he finally broke the bridge's silent monitorings. "Set an intercept course. Keep us on an angle away from their main gun battery."
A series of reports to the affirmative reached his audio receptors as if they were cheers and celebration. One more ship to eliminate brought this horrific war to an end... it brought about the end of the injustices that had been hoisted upon his past. "Sir, Turmoil will not like this. Our orders were to maintain stasis orbit until final phase of infiltration was complete."
Deadlock spared only a glancing sneer at the cowardly snitch on the lower level. "I'll be sure to inform him at my earliest opportunity." Back towards the helm and the main viewer. "Engage engines, bring us within weapons range and fire as soon as the solution is reached. Marines, prepare a boarding party. May as well stretch our legs while we're at it."

Profile: Waspinator is the universe's whipping boy. If something goes wrong, it happens to him. If something blows up, he's usually at the epicenter of the explosion. He has been blasted, burned, shot down, torn up, crushed, slashed, smashed, bashed, and otherwise reduced to his component parts times beyond counting. Disturbingly, Rattrap has taken to collecting his severed components.
Waspinator's not the brightest 'bot in the Decepticon Army. Megatron has classified the harebrained Decepticon as expendable, much to Waspinator's dismay; he doesn't get much more respect from anyone else, either. His speech quirks don't help: he tends to refer to himself in the third person and to most other people by nicknames like "cat-bot" and "two-head". He's also a bit too fond of the letter "Z".
Waspinator may be dumb, but he's not stupid. He has caught on to his lot in life and tries to avoid his fate as often as possible... but fate always finds him. Thankfully, he's almost supernaturally durable and has survived the most devastating and humiliating of defeats.
Abilities: Waspinator is very speedy in Wasp form, being able to reach Mach 2.9 at top speed. He has a high pitch buzz when he flies, triggering the fear and uneasiness elements in friends and foes alike, that compaired with his fearsome appearence (For the most part) makes him a feasome opponent. He has great endurance, and it is a good thing too, for he seems to land in everything bad. He has a stinger on the back of the abdoman section of his Wasp and Robot mode. He can either fire it at an opponent, or he may stab them at close range. The stinger is filled with a deadly poison that slowly deteriorates the opponent unless a countermeasure has been provided. The intennea of his Wasp Form are supercharged with Ions so he may launch them at an opponent to disrtupt their electrical functions if it hits. As a hidden weapon, he has two hidden missile launchers that are located under his wings, these are missiles that home into a target in the air or on the ground. As another weapon he has a stinger pistol that can either fire a barb that uses the same poison as his stinger, or as an Ion Blaster.
Weaknesses: He almost always seems to land in almost every Explosion, and he secretly is getting fed up with it.
Sample Post:
Above Central City, Earth
Waspinator soared above the City below him with ease, and for once he actually he wasn't going to be slagged. That hope was short lived when two FA-22 Raptors sped up next to him and, it seemed like, they were trying to radio him or their supiriors about seeing a giant wasp, but that he couldn't have! His cover was blown! His wings emitting a high pitch and annoying sound, he sped to his left and grabbed the plane and stung it.
"Zee you later humaaanzzzz!!!" He said as he began to swing the plane about to get it to slam into the Jet's wing man.
"Eh?" Waspinator said dumbfounded as two billows of smoke came from below the Raptor and slammed into Waspinator.
Waspinator called out as he pushed off from the Jet, sending it spiraling down into the city below. He then transformed and hovered as he fired off his Ion Pistol at the location where the Jet fell.
Suddenly he thought of something, where was the other plane? He turned around to see where it went, but was answered when it turned out to be speeding behind him and collided head-on with Waspinator. He fired his barb at the plane and it went through the windshield and stabbed the pilot. Suddenly more smoke covered Waspinator's face.
"Ohhh nooo..." Waspinator groaned as the missiles hit him square on the head, sending him off of the plane and onto the roof of the city below, and he stayed active long enough to see the jet fall to its doom and a Seeker come to evac him.
He awoke in a CR Chamber on the Ultrax, wondering where he was. He looked around and found his gaze falling on Ramjet, the Seeker who had "rescued" him. He looked away and rubbed the back of his head, then said aloud, "Ohh, why does me Wazzpinator have Headache all over...?"

Profile: Scourge is the most fearsome and implacable hunter-killer created by Megatron in the same experiment that made Cyclonus from the wreckage of dead Decepticons. Scourge is leader of "The Sweeps," a specially created wolf pack of tracker-terminators designed by Megatron himself to hunt down and eradicate Autobots and their human allies. The Sweeps, however, have little respect for Scourge, but they are scared to death of Cyclonus. Being as strong as Scourge is, he becomes arrogant, and this proves to be his only weakness.
Abilities: Scourge is possessed of scanning and locating equipment, which can detect machine or human presence even if it is as small as an amoeba in the ocean or a wind-up toy. And he is merciless and capable of using such weapons as acid rays, which dissolve his targets, laser blasters, disintegrator beams, and assorted demolition and fusion devices in eliminating his prey. He can transform to a scouring vehicle, a marauding automotive mode which handles any terrain and scans for "survivors."
Weaknesses: Scourge has no physical wweaknesses, but his only weakness is his arrogance.
Sample Post:
Nebulos National Forest
This one was proving to be a harder one to find, in Scourge's opoinion. The mech he was following had stolen some plans that not even Scourge knew about before he was briefed behind closed doors. No matter, he was there to eliminate the Mech, and the plans.
"Sweeps! To the air!" Scourge ordered to three Sweeps behind him who were grumbling about being there.
They looked about for a couple of seconds, then transformed and took to the skies to scout, leaving Scourge alone on the ground to search for the Mech they were following. Suddenly, he heard a twig snap. He twirled around to see a fleeing young Autobot, who had just transformed into a Cybertronian Pickup and began to drive off.
Scourge quickly transformed and sped after him, dodging trees narrowly and firing several disintegrator beams at the fleeing Autobot.
"Sweeps!! SWEEPS!!!!" Scourge called to his men who seemed to have been disappeared at this point in time.
He continued on the trail of the Autobot and continued with the disintegrator beams. He stopped and transformed and let the Autobot gain some ground on him. He pointed his weapon at a tree that would give way in the correct direction and fired at the base. His aim and planning were true, the tree gave way and began to fall in the direction of the Autobot.
With a scream, the Autobot was crushed by the tree. Scourge made his way to the Autobot to check the kill. He kicked the tree off of the Autobot, revealing a wounded Autobot Scout.
"P-Please! D-Don't!" The Autobot tossed Scourge a small data disk, "You can keep your stupid plans! I wish I'd never seen them!"
"Good." Scourge said with a devieous smile as he caught the disk.
He fired one disintegrator beam, disintegrating it in the palm of Scourge's hand. He turned to the Autobot and placed his foot on the Autobot's throat.
"Such a terrible thing, I was hoping you would put up a better fight." And with that, Scourge fired an acid ray into the spark chamber, it couldn't have closed in time, the Acid works too well at close range.
The light faded from the Optics and the Autobot relaxed, dead. Just then, his Sweeps came down and transformed in front of him.
"You called?" One of them asked.
"In fact, I did! What took you so long!" Scourge yelled.
"We got held up, uh, Autobot fliers." One of them obviously lied.
Scourge grunted, he would let it slide, it had no negative effect on the mission, but next time, there would be consequences.
