Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.

There is a 3rd party solution coming for Ironhide so Ratchet can't be far behind.

And Alvaron, Big Groove is a sure thing. He was shown and confirmed at BotCon.
It's all good. I'm sure you have plenty of other photos to take. Catching up on Beast Wars and Machines will make me plenty happy. When you get to it, of course.Seibertron wrote:I do have Takara's Masterpiece Thundercracker on the way finally so maybe when I do his gallery, I'll do a Ratchet ass-kicking photo to make all of you happy!
I am thinking of cutting off those squares too, but I might do with cross on one shoulder, and the trimmed cross on the other.Starscream5150 wrote:Anyone here plan on modifying the cross decals to just a cross? Was thinking of a G1 homage and cutting the small red squares off...

It was very easy to cut them while still on the backing paper using my wife's small sewing scissors. I cut them flush because even the tiny, trace amount of white just doesn't show up unless I get my face right up on him.Seibertron wrote:I thought about doing it but was concerned about the thickness of the sticker. Should some of the white be left or should the cut be flush with the cross? I decided to just leave it for the time being.

In sticker screw-up of a level only I can do consistently, Ratchet's left shoulder cross logo is too far to his right by just a small margin. Noticed it "in time" since I hadn't pressed down and still had the tweezers under one section securely. Unfortunately, those stickers are so sticky that it almost definitely would have ripped or gotten deformed if I'd attempted to move it closer to the exactly correct spot.

There are other considerations. Mattel uses Hot Wheels designs dozens of times, in different colors and styles, before retiring them. Also, Mattel sells cases of toys to retailers, not individual toys. A case of 72 Hot Wheels cars might contain five or six new models that are officially licensed, and the rest are either old molds or vehicles that were totally invented by Mattel.
