A minor thing, sure, but kinda depressing that since Acid Storm from just last year they've lost paint apps on the chest, shins, and kneecaps on top of losing the partner figure.

Well, I figured it would end up being something you would regret not getting, and would then buy it on the secondary market for much higher prices, so I'm technically saving you money

You guys are fun.
So I am sorry if I kill the mood (see me as the little voice on the other side of the shoulder), but I did want to mention that not all TFs go up in value. Some do drop, and its usually the ones people care less about as time goes on. Like the Energon Line, the TF Go! line, the Alternators line and the Titanium line.

Well, that was my other thought: these don't have collector value now, they probably won't when he has the money to get them, and by that time, some of the lost light crew (right? the ones he's looking at in these sets) will have good figures, so... win-win

Sure, why not. I just meant that people should get what they want and if its not something they really want, then save for when that special item gets released

Sure, no prob, I've just been the victim of that regret many times before, and don't want others to suffer it

At least get the different colored ones like mirage and sunstreaker just for the variety, but if you can get them, you may as well, I get the distinct feeling we won't be seeing combiners for a while after this
Probs won't. Argh, money, decisions
Yeah, I chose to skip most of the last few years of generations figures
you give the angel on my shoulder telling me not to buy these a hard time
Just tryin' to help
uhuh, sure you are. Help hasbro take my money!

Or, you buy something in fear of regretting not to get it, and then you regret getting it because it is lackluster. I have been victim of that one (Prime Abominus and Systalker and Alternators Optimus and RTS Mindset and Movie Lockdown). How about you?

The sad part is that, there is a precise amount of room on the roof section to have the slots cut into it for the ax to rest in the hinged section. But this is generally how I feel about the rest of the re-shells, they could've done a lot more for them

Actually, it doesn't need additional slots, it just needs an extra horizontal tab on the opposite side of his weapon accessory from where the vertical tabs are so that it can tab into the existing hole. If I was going to have him on display, I'd be half tempted to buy an extra one just for his weapon accessory so that I could snap a tab off one, glue it on the other and then he'd be all set.

Seibertron wrote:It would have been awesome if the weapon accessory for Rodimus and Blackjack had an extra horizontal tab so that it could have stored on the backside of the figure like I have it shown in the picture below, which easily achieves Rodimus' more classic look sans chest flames. For these photos, I accomplished this by using a polyband which wraps around the weapon and the back piece though I'd much prefer a physical tab to do this.
I'm really surprised they didn't do this.
