Ditto, don't even start that crap about "elite collectors". As someone who own's the Botcon set I hope they also release the Henkei version of Dirge. It has superior wings, but I didn't want to spend $80.00 on a character I already had. I would gladly pay $12.00 for it though.

And good for everyone that this is coming out--I got the Botcon set, which I still think is the best version (price tag aside), but everyone should be able to share the love.

At this point it's like someone is going to have to strategically walk a bucket of yellow-orange paint in there and "accidentally" drop a Starscream in so everyone at the seeker factory can do a collective "Holy Crap! Nah, just kidding. I'm just passing on this years set (barring an awesome figure) due to radioactive color schemes. I've got the 8 US release Seekers and Henkei Starscream (Regular and Ghost) so I'm going to pass on this.

And remember, Skywarp was an exclusive too. I'd expect to see him again before Thundercracker sees the UV light of toy stores.

I'm not sure if any of you have noticed anything about Thrust, but when I first saw the pics from Toy Fair I didn't think nothing of saying anything but I will not. Anyway have you noticed it? It's nothing to do with color or chrome. I'm sure that will give it away.

Skywarp was an easier to get exclusive, though.

I always liked Thrust.

This versions looks way better than the Henkei/Gentei version.

Best overall is still the BotCon version. Sorry gang, those wings are just superior and I say that owning both. Henkei is the most anime accurate, but this US release is just all around nicer than the Henkei one. So, anyway you get Thrust you can't go wrong.

You didn't post the question very good... Are you asking if there is a difference between Botcon version and this version... are you asking if we noticed a difference in these pics and the toyfair pics... are you asking about placement of the wings and the slightly diiferent molding of the main wings... What?????

Seeing this figure, the only thing I'm disappointed in is myself. I'm disappointed that, knowing that both Takara and Hasbro seem to always find a way to release almost every line and figure at some point, I'm not patient enough to wait. I've finally seen the light-no more rushing to order MPs and Henkei figures until I've waited to see what Hasbro's response or version is going to be or vice versa. Of course, certain figures are pretty unlikely like Ganbo Strafe. But the big releases seem to find a way. Hell, even some of the Device label line is coming here.

I must be more patient as doing so in this case would have saved me about 70 bucks and gotten me a superior figure.

I want a masterpiece Thrust...


But for now, I'll buy two of these. One for show and one for MP Grimlock to chew on.

I somewhat think you got what I was talking about, anyway I'm not asking just wanting to know how many people noticed the difference between the two and it's not that it's different molding it's just Hasbro some how put the wings on the wrong sides.

while i can understand the frustration and viewpoint of many out there i disagree on the idea it would piss off all the "fans" as many young collectors as well those who cant attend many of the conventions where these exclusives are sold.people who started 4 or 5 yrs ago like myself who remember these figures would love to have an updated set of complete seekers. my opinion while not shared by all is go for it hasbro. this is along the lines of mp releases while i paid 150 for grimlock i dont begrudge another collector the opportunity to own this amazing figure.

Yes, I do, if that's a requirement to say something about this here Thrust.

I like him also. The color is real nice. In the Toy Fair pictures he looked kind of half-assed to me for some reason, like a really bad paint job was just slapped on the figure. But this picture, man that looks nice. Despite owning the Botcon and Henkei Thrusts, I'll buy this one when I see him.

I hate to say it after spending an assload of money on the Henkei version but the Hasbro version looks better. SON OFA BITCH!

Definitely looking forward to this! Thrust and Starscream were the only two seekers I had as a kid; and I've already got Classics 1.0 Starscream.

It's kind of fun rebuilding my G1 collection, or G1 characters I always wanted, with these newer lines.
