But I agree that it shouldn't be redone as Scrapper either, since Scrapper's been dead since the 2009-2011 ongoing.

Yes and no. They created listings for the figures in answer to TFSource putting theirs up, however they're inactive. I suspect they haven't received solicitation from Hasbro yet.
Twould feel like a cheap cop-out if they went that route.ausbot wrote:I'm not sure if anyone has said it yet but I wonder if Ghiaxus is going to be Armada starscream with a new head?

I wouldn't know. I don't read the comics. I've never been a comic fan, outside of having the full run of G2 somewhere in storage, I'm just not a comic person. Like, at all.
I'll take your word for it.

Dead Metal wrote:Yes I know all that, but the difference was that until now, idw didn't do that with their main G1 comics save for the silly body changes during AHM, but that was horrid anyway.
Until now, the idw G1 verse was strictly fiction based, without advertising the toys, and Hasbro said they liked it that way.
But this? Sure Waspinator, Rhinox and Rattrap work, since even the originals where still G1 characters, but stuff like Armada Starscream here and the WFC/FOC bodies is stupid, and the inclusion of the Metroplex plot.
I mean, I don't have anything against them putting in characters that will show up as toys, what I don't like is them doing it badly.
The MTMTE and RID have been doing their own thing, especially MTMTE has been building up to something, which is now getting shoved aside or even cut just to justify this. Metroplex makes no sense the way he's been treated in Dark Cybertron.
Aside from one particular Bot Shots toy, when has Skywarp ever not been a redeco/remold?NecaPrime wrote:not so pleased that skyward is just a repaint![]()

G1: redeco
Machine Wars: debatable as he was released alongside his mold-mate Thundercracker
BWII: slight repaint
Armada: retool
Cybertron: redeco
Universe 2003: redeco
Classics: redeco
Animated: redecos
Prime Arms Micron: retool
And so on and so forth.
