This thing is massive and truely a work of art. That said mine is very loose. The right wing is pretty solid and can hold the missile and pod without wanting to fold in on itself, however the left wing is quite flimsy and can barely hold the 2, let alone the 3 or booster pod.
As with all first release Yamato Macross figures...they are filled with QC issues. Mine doesnt have any stress marks, and there is a fix circulating on the Macrossworld forum...I might give it a try.... Anyways when they do Nora's these issues should hopefully be fixed.

Ahhh damn those pictures look pretty bad... I need to figure out my Fiancee's camera...right now it is permantly stuck on Macro and we can't figure how to get it off... Anyways this wasnt even a full gallery...it was a quasi teaser one. Let me toy more with her camera and get it off the macro mode.
I just got it into Gearwalk and it is pretty solid actually...stands on its own.

Yeah I've never seen Zero. I assume at some point that it will be released in the US so I'll see it then; nice to see how it all begins. The foldbooster cannot be mounted in Battroid. I guess that's due to it being a flight device.

aww phooie.anyways, I seriously doubt Macross Zero WILL be released in the US due to the fact Harmony Gold isn`t too fond of Macross related releases.plus, Zero`s a few years old now.if it were to get released, it`d have been done by now.but fret not, there are good quality fandubs available on the net easily.chuckdawg1999 wrote:Black Arachnis wrote:then I take it you haven`t seen Macross Zero eh Chuck?anyways, onto your YF-19...looks great but I take it the foldbooster can`t be mounted in battroid mode?

ADV just released the entire original Macross series on DVD and I've heard plans of them doing Mosspedia and Southern Cross. A big rumor, let me say it again this is a RUMOR, is that ADV is thinking about doing a special Macross finale set that would include DYRL, Flashback 2025 or whatever it was called and Zero. Again just a rumor.

I've never liked the intake covers. And the Ghost should sit nicely against the Vertical Stabalizers. Mine doesnt want to fall of in any of the modes.

I just want to add that I am so glad I have these 2 on preorder...they just look so damn sexy in black.... And the colorless visor is a nice touch.
Also I got my SV-51r in all 3 modes and I have to say I am 50/50 with this figure. What they have done to make this thing possible is remarkable...but the thing is so damn loose... I either have hios shoulders wrong...but in Gerwalk and Battroid form he cant hold his weapon up. The wings are also very flimsy so I am going to be using some crazy glue to tighten them up (i have never done this sowish me luck). Like I said its a beatuiful figure...but come on Yamato...these are just dumb **** QC issues that need to be fixed BEFORE general release.

Well I might be able to tell you how mine is. I got my shipped notice from BBTS today and on it they had listed the SV-51 but I wasn't charged. If I get it yay, and I'll gladly pay them for it, if not I'll wait the year for the second run for a perfect toy.

If I had known that he would've been coming today I would've waited to ship my loot. They really need to put release dates on these.

It's pretty cool, but seems tiny! Nice accessories, good poseability, joints are a little loose, the stand is cool, and it looks anime accurate. Overall I like him, even if he's nt as cool as a 1/48th Yamato.

I'm waiting for a few more things before I ship mine. Are the joints too loose to hold a pose or just right?

I find them a little loose. The gun arm especially has a hard time (on mine) holding the sucker up. Not loose, loose, just not tight either.
