Also this show would've never flown in the US because the vast majority of air time doesn't feature action and thus, not push product.
Black Arachnis wrote:hey Chuck, don`t forget to watch Shadow Cronicles too.that`ll get you updated on all the Robotech series.anyways, in a week or two I`ll get my own VT-1 Ostrich, looking forward to my first twoseater valkyrie.
which is why you`re supposed to watch it after the New Generation saga of Robotech buddy.chuckdawg1999 wrote:Black Arachnis wrote:hey Chuck, don`t forget to watch Shadow Cronicles too.that`ll get you updated on all the Robotech series.anyways, in a week or two I`ll get my own VT-1 Ostrich, looking forward to my first twoseater valkyrie.
I own and have watched shadow chronicles. It just made things more confusing.

I sorta remember New Generation, that's why I was confused they didn't mention his earth comrades unless, no, don't tell me, don't tell me they're all DEAD!!!!! Not again in this series, it's a Fing cartoon, nobody dies in a cartoon.
Gutter Bunny wrote:Finally got my 1/48 vf-1j, question though...
do they normally come "sealed" i.e. taped?
Black Arachnis wrote:so...should get my VT-1 this week...anyone interested in photo`s of it?

Mine have always come tighter than a German virgin, goodentight. Joking aside all the 1/48's I've bought have had taped boxes, unless they were used.
Black Arachnis wrote:that`s funny Chuck cause I picked up my 1/60 VT-1 Super Ostrich up last night and that WAS taped up tighter then a virgin....not that my trusty X-Acto blade couldn`t deal with that neatly and without marring the box....currently stickering my VT-1 and then it`s photoshoot time!
Black Arachnis wrote:finally finished stickering my VT-1...Yamato sure didn`t make it easy by completely changing the stickerguide from the normal releases yet including the printed image of a standard VF-1 and it`s markings...I`ll take photo`s tomorrow but as an aside question, is anyone getting the Shadow Chronicles collector's edition?I am as I`m quite interested in the Robotech 3000 foorage they are including.
Black Arachnis wrote:yes well, DYRL is sort of situated as a movie of Spacewar I set inside that world and 2012 is a clipshow really with only a few new scenes. it doesn`t actually wrap things up really...in fact, if you hate Minmay`s singing, steer clear of 2012 as that is all you hear.
Black Arachnis wrote:yeah but I`m waiting to see what others think of the Toynami Cyclone MPC...I recently refitted my Gakken Cyclone with new stickers and it looks gorgeous now...so I want to see what improvements were made and what flaws before I decide to put that cash down.can`t hunt an MPC Cyclone down and try to complete my Yamato 1/60 valks can I?
