Oooo that is good news. I am glad that they are going to continue this series. I still need to watch my copy of it

And here is more intresting news coming out of toywave. A few weeks back BBTS announced that there was going to be 2 Hasegawa Macross 25th Anni model kits of the VF-1S and YF-19. Now Toywave has a image of a special black and yellow VF-1S and YF-19. They appear to be the 1/48th and 1/60th scale versions...

And one more tid bit from the Yamato website. A flash intro with a clear glance at the VF-0S and YF-19. Click it here.

Also Graham said he was able to find out that these guys will not be a ubber exclusive like the VF-0A Low Vis 1. These figures will be available at Retail for retail price.

There will also be a giant Minmei figure, and Wave will be coming out with a DYRL accurate paint scheme of their SDF-1.

Here are 2 new shots of the 1/48th VF-0S and 1/60th YF-19 in 25th Anni colors.

I like the VF-1S, but I am just blown away at how the YF-19 looks ion that paint scheme. There seems to be a crap load of whineing goin on at Macrossworld about the "25th Anniversary" written on the figure. Personally I think it looks nice and complements the figure nicely.

can`t view that...I get a board message that I`m not permitted to be there....I registered all nicely and stuff too.... anyways, the 25th Anniversary text doesn`t put me off at all. I feel they just add that celebratory touch to the valkyries.now I REALLY want a set of FASTpack armor with that lining and text on it...y'know, to make it a beefy anniversary mech.

Yea some of them are just compalining that it wouldnt happen in the showm, there would be no point to doing a paint job like that. But I agree with you..I think it is fine and looks pretty cool to have a 25th anni Valk in your collection.

If they do not make a Fast Pack for it...They sold the Stealth Fast Packs by itself didnt they? It is pretty much Black so it would look nice.

That's funny about the MW forums, I'm completely opposite; I wouldn't approve of the scheme if it DIDN'T say 25th anniversary. At first reading the toy-wave listing I thought it was for a Bandai release. Heck, maybe they would do one to be nice anyway.

Some new news from Macrossworld about the 25th Anni fgures. These guys will be a SINGLE production run so we are tlaking Low Vis 1 here. Also the "25th Anniversary" wording will be on the actual plastic, it will not be a sticker sheet. IMO that is a good thing.

Man I have to order both of these as soon as they come up or wait to pay $400+ on Ebay.

Why hasn't BBTS put these up and how high do you think the mark up will be? Also the YF-19 is part of the 25th anniversary? Is the show even 10 years old?

Yea I don;t know why it is taking so long to get these pre orders up. I think maybe they are still waiting on Yamato for some info. Hasegawa got the info on their 25th Anni kits out so the pre orders were easy for those. But Yamato is slowly leaking these figures. Plus they were just announced.

As for markup...I am hoping they wont go very high. A typical Valk by itself usually goes between $150-170. The YF-19 is a bit heftier with more detail so usually goes between $170-190. I'm hoping that they don;t get to greedy with these guys and they sell for around $200.

And Macross Plus is 12ish years (February 1995 USA, 1994 Japan?), however it is definetly the second biggest thing next to the original Macross series. Macross Plus braught the series back into the light. I think they wanted to show the evolution of the series with a original Macross VF-1 and the latest cutting edge YF-19.

Perhaps we will finally see a release of DYRL and 2015 or 2025 Flashback what ever it was called in the US.

Did we ever get confirmation either way about the fast packs for the Toynami 1/100s that were released last year?
I bought one in October last year hoping to repaint as jetfire,. At the time I heard they were going to produce the fastpacks, and even saw pics of them from an expo somewhere but I've not heard anything since?
Did they decide not to produce them or what?

OK guys here are some pics of the YF-19 with armor in Jet mode

It looks nice but like most of the other armor sets makes transforming difficult. The leg armor keeps falling off because it is secured only by a magnet. I should say though that in jet mode everything is tight due to the wings pegging into it.

If Yang Neumann is the teenage scientist that Jigabo Dyson made fun of then yes he is in the foldbooster set. Funny thing is he is painted in a green flight suit.

Jigabo, Isamu, I couldn't think of his first name. Besides I like Jigabo better, fits the character more.
