There were listings found a few months ago for a $50 Optimus Prime and Megatron that were unrelated to any line. Well, now we know what those "toys" are. They are, in fact, statues. While many fans have seen this new statue at Gamestop, they are now making their way to Target months later. We have an image of the sighting thanks to TF fan Prime Rising. It is a statue based on Optimus Prime's G1 cartoon design. The news here is that we now know which "toy" was linked to that new Target listing we had found. Turns out it isn't that new a toy.

It's a statue, so no. What it's doing in the pic is what it'll do its entire existence barring any breakage.

Hopefully Nonnef or DNA Designs will release an upgrade kit to improve the articulation.

No, just Megatron, Soundwave, Bumblebee and Starscream. These same statues were found at Gamestop earlier this year. It's new for Target, but not new necessarily.

Yeah, there's a Grimlock and a Soundwave. These were said to be Gamestop exclusives but now Target has them too.
