But, I think we could still do with official "final product" shots before I confirm that thought.

The more I see these two the more I want them and a black and white repaint of CJ and BB respectively.

As much as I'm coming to like the Alternity BB figure and CJ too, I'm just itching to see what the fiction for Alternity BB is. Alternity Convoy and Megatron have established that the story for this line is all about taking anime super science and injecting it with a boatload mixture of DMT and steroids. I keep wondering what kind of upgrades BB will be getting. I imagine something crazy like a:

"Multi-Phasic Core Probability Processor[Chest]: Tunes into and channels the psychic energy of the can-do attitude and youthful zeal of the multitudes of parallel Bumblebees in all conceivable existence as well as their young human sidekicks to create a field of reality manipulation. Whenever the rambunctious auto-avatar of Bumblebee(Champion Yellow) gets in over his head, "luck" in the way of the MPCPP saves his horn-headed chasis from utter annihilation.

Also, I wonder what's next for the Alternity line up after BB. We have 2 Autobots and 1 Decepticon. The next Alternity figure after BB should be a Decepticon but who? The line is focusing on be automobiles for the alt modes as it's the next successor to Binaltech so I don't know if someone like Starscream would be an ideal choice. Maybe Soundwave since he wasn't in the Alternators/Binaltech toyline?

Correction. There are 4 Cybertrons. Convoy, Black Convoy(separate character from Convoy), Bumblebee, & Cliffjumper.

I was thinking the same thing about the next Destron in the line. I also think the next character will be unconventional character like Soundwave or Starscream. Soundwave could have an easy black repaint, and Starscream could easily be repainted to death.

Oh, I should have said molds, which is what I meant, hehe. Once the third Bumble paint scheme is announced, hopefully the next Destron mold is revealed. If Starscream is chosen, I predict some fan outcry "Jett not Kar!!!" but I think it would be cool if the level of artistry and quality of the Alternity line is maintained in an Alternity Starscream design. I personally would like to see a Destron/Decepticon that wasn't in the Alts/BT line get a chance to be in the Alternity line.

Just to touch upon the fiction, every repaint/retool seems to represent an iteration of the characer. The named Convoys of the line from the Convoy Corps are Vibrant Red/Vector 109 (G1 Convoy), Ultimate Silver/Vector 01 (Convoy of the Binaltech world), and Super Black/Vector 704 (a reformed/redeemed Universe Nemesis Prime from the future).

I read the following translation of the fiction included with Alternity Megatron Blade Silver at tfwiki:

There are two known representative individuals: "Blue" from the BT world, and his first ally, "Silver". To realize their dreams of conquest and overthrow the Cybertron Alternity, they are plotting to augment their power to expand the "Megatron Aggregate".

So it's safe to assume that Diamond Black Megatron is a third incarnation of Megatron gathered to the Megatron Aggregate. I hope more information is revealed to confirm which universes the Vibrant Red, Blade Silver, and Diamond Black incarnations are from. I'm assuming the Blade Silver Megatron, Vibrant Red Convoy, and Champion Yellow Bumble are from G1 for the time being simply from the colour schemes.

For Alternity Convoy and Megatron, it seems like the first figure paint schemes are the G1 incarnations(Vibrant Red and Blade Silver), the second(Ultimate Silver and Lemans Blue) are the BT incarnations, which is verified in the fiction, and then the third could be anything? I mean, Super Black is Nemesis Prime, while the Diamond Black doesn't have a colour scheme of any version of Megatron I know of, though the Botcon 2008 Shattered Glass Megatron has a similar colour scheme of black, red, grey, yellow, and transparent blue. If there is a pattern to the order of paint schemes, how do the third members of Convoy and Megatron relate if they do at all?

Now with Bumble(bee) not being in the Alternators/Binaltech line, the idea that the "2nd" paint scheme of the an Alternity mold being the BT incarnation may not hold or simply that the pattern isn't used for this mold. Especially since the Pearl Red version hints of it being more of a G1 Cliffjumper incarnation with the head sculpt and the colour choice.
