YES! YES! YES! I knew Ironhide would see a Classics/Universe release eventually. To hell with Hasbro's claim of Animated characters not being released as Classics; this proves that Hasbro is willing to break their word to appease fans (I just hope the same goes for the Botcon Seekers). I'm disappointed with Sideswipe. I was hoping Hasbro would replace Sunstreaker's engine block with an spring-loaded shoulder cannon. He even has Sunstreaker's head! It's Classics Cliffjumper all over again. Oh well, at least we have Bluestreak who can transform into Silverbolt. Isn't that something?

What's with the Autobot symbol thing with that Prime?

I would imagine it's a stand, but it looks really thick.

Prime and Ironhide are a must for me, but I'm a little disapointed with Siverbolt's robot mode, and I'm not much of a fan of Ironhide or Sideswipe. Very nice figures still.

Hot diggity! Ironhide, is awesome.

Hopefully Sideswipes head will be tweaked to where the ears are removed or kept inside the head permanently.

The Autobot shield is an electronic box with voices and phrases.

They basically took G2 Prime and redid him back to G1 Prime.

Damn those look fantastic! I'm so glad they colored the top part of Sideswipes chest black. Bluestreak looks amazing, Ironhide looks amazing, Silverbolt looks amazing!

I really hope they put up pictures of Cyclonus and Hound.

I knew they would do a Hound!

There is a Sideswipe with a correct head in the cabinets at Botcon (see tformers gallery) I assume the finished version will have a rocket launcher too - it'd be a shame if he didn't

Oooh... 25th Prime... I may have to get that. My parents should still have my original G1 Prime in their loft, but it's broken (well used when I still played with toys :grin:

), so I'd like a new one to display.

I think it's a bit odd that Sideswipe still comes with the engine and the ears, but I can always pretend it doesn't

Silverstreak's bot mode looks suspiciously like Silverbolt's. You'd think Hasbro would get their own site right

Ironhide's alt mode seems to be full of joins, so is very messy

Those all look great, that Silverstreak looks way better than Prowl.

I'm sad Sideswipe has no shoulder cannon.

Counting down to Smokescreen repaint...

Honestly, I'd hoped they'd come up with something better for the 25th. I'll get all of them...including this new Seeker repaint Acid Storm...but ironhide is probably staying in robot mode. You suppose they can do that mold as Rathet too? :-?

Back on topic...

Hasbro has really outdone themselves in design department this time 'round.

Sideswipe is proof that you can take a crappy mold, slap on a nice paint job and make it look buy worthy.

Ultra Magnus is not only made of win, but he pwns souls with his hammer of awesome.

Ironhide was something out of left field, but welcome nonetheless. Great vehicle and robot modes, even though he's all...panel-y. (Granted, I realize he's a proto in the pics.)

Silverbolt just gets better and better with each viewing.

Bluestreak (I refuse to call him anything but his G1 name) is handled quite nicely. It's great to see G1 done the *right* way.

Sentinel Prime comes with his sword and shield...pure, unbridled joy.

Swoop...looks like he just climbed out of the screen. These Dinobots get better in plastic. (too bad their 'toon counterparts aren't too terribly great.)

25th. Prime...eh, not so much. Although I do like the idea of the digitally remastered MTMTE pilot. Still...$70.00 just for me to get the DVD...no. hope the rest of you enjoy him.

I want Animated sooooo bad.

Something kept nagging the back of my mind about the four military minicons in the twelve pack, and I finally figured out what it was!

They're GIJoe homages!

Specifically, the A-10 is supposed to look like a Cobra Rattler, and the M1 is supposed to look like a Crimson Guard tank!

I'm sorry everyone, I gotta go against the grain here and say that the new Classics stuff looks bloody awful.

Ironhide looks like he blew up in a million pieces and someone tried to glue him back together and Silverbolt looks just as ugly as he did in the 1980s. He's not a transformers, he's just a robot hidden under a jet.

And already with the friggin' repaints. There are more repaints in this line that actual new molds, and the line hasn't even been released yet!

I'm sorry everyone, I just can't get excited about this stuff anymore. I know my negative comments will just get lost in the sea of fans' "zomg G1 stuff again this ownz!," but I'm really disappointed in the direction this franchise is taking. If it weren't for TF Animated and my Beast Wars DVDs, I probably would have completely abandonned this franchise by now.

All I can say is—YEE HAH! ;)^

Judging from the pictures the news crew or Ryan uploaded, it looks like I can finally get the Voyager Cybertron SS mold as Dirge, and an updated Classics Springer! I am one happy fella!

I just hope that the Springer, Ratbat two-pack isn't ultra rare. I'll be watching my Target like a hawk when it comes out.
