I wonder if the actor who was playing Dmitri put 2 and 2 together
The funny thing is doesn't he look like a Klingon from TOS?

While I could nit pick that episode apart for its inconsistent amout of time given between the explosion on Praxes and the rescue mission launched by Sulu and other issues I'll focuse on one major continuity error.
The Character of Dmitri Valtane, who was in both Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country and Star Trek Voyeger episode "Flash Back", Dmitri Valtane dided in Ensign Tuvok's hands durring the battle with the Klingons durring the rescue attempt of Kirk and McKoy..But if you look at the end of the Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, when Sulu is saying his goodbyes to Kirk and the Enterprise crew, standing behind Captain Sulu is Dmitri Valtane alive and well.
I would call that a continuity error

So that guy actually is in ST:VI. Huh. Thought I was seeing things. As for the time between the explosion and the rescue, isn't a chunk of time skipped on the Excelsior, as it's taking place in Tuvok's mind so he just skips to the relevant bits? Been a while since I saw the ep, so I could be mistaken.

I did say I didnt want to nit pick the time issue's of that episode but since you brought it up again.
While telling Janeway the events of what happened Tuvok tells her that Sulu launched the rescue attempt of Kirk and McKoy 2 days after the explosion on Praxis.
But in Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country Kirk and crew didnt take on the dipolmatic mission to meet Gorkon untill 2 months after the explosion on Praxis.
Thats a difference of at least 60 days.I thought Vulcans were incapable of mistakes in math

His Brain was chemically imbalanced at the time, and can explain the error

This episode came out great.I saw it a few months back.
The only thing I have against the remastered episodes is that in some of of the episodes like "The Paradise Syndrome" they made a few mistakes and in a few others like "The Doomsday Machine" they removed some key dialoge momments.
But by far I love them....I've been waiting to see "Blance of Terror" Thats my all time fav

....I'm not quite as impressed over these remastered effects as you are. They look like something you see in those cheap sci fi movies or something. I know the original effects are laughably bad, but...ok, I'll say the explosions and stuff look a lot better. It doesn't look like a firecracker anymore. But the ships...eh.
