I'm not quite sure. I can vaguely think of a movie Shockwave with a mouth. Its hard to describe, but basically a longer face (similar to Animated) and a very small mouth at the bottom. Very small... like I said, very vague. Very, very vague.

my gut feeling is that we're gonna get a really sh*tty Shockwave. Let's hope I'm wrong

I won't be holding my breath for something amazing. I'll keep the bar set very low; if it turns out awsome, then I will be happily surprised.

I really worry what will become of Megatron and maybe Starscream, because it seems like Shockwave is going to be the main villian. At the same time I am super excited about Shockwave being the main villian, plus I am expecting a nice leader class figure. With the whole robots assassinating humans, I think that's the kind of thing Shockwave would plan, rather than openly blasting them to smithereens.

yeah the autobots combiners would be majestic humanoid wariors where as the decepticons would have beast like feral and savage combiners except for maybe menasor i think he would be more humanoid in form as both devastator and bruticus are big, brutal and stupid but menasor would be smarter and not to mention faster but thats my opinion

From what I understand, Menasor was supposed to be the best Combiner, but was insane. Plus, his vehicles were small, so he'd end up much smaller than Devastator or Bruticus.

I thought it was suppose to be Predaking? I'm not too sure, but I'm pretty sure Predaking was the cream of the crop in terms of combiners.

As far as the Battle Ship Bot, I wouldn't be too surprised being Josh Nizzi I think already did concept art for a Battle Ship Transformer during the concept art stage. I wouldn't doubt it would e revisisted being this film has such a short turnaround, and very little time for art development, it would be wise to use whatever concepts didn't make it in the other two films, Just as Arcee and Soundwave were dropped from TF1, and regretably re-designed for TF2. The Battleship may be brought to life, but not as Shockwave. It will be renamed something more unlikely like Bruticus or something.

As far as Shockwave, we might just get the flying giant gun passed off as a cybertronian jet....or....sigh...he won't transform as to not confuse him and Megatron. Ugh

He was, but I think he came after Menasor, so Menasor was supposed to be ultimate first. Though in the episode where PredaKing appeared he sort of just randomly came in...
Plus, I don't know, Bruticus accomplished the most I think, well tied with Devastator but only in the 86 movie.

I cannot wait for this film, the only concern and disheartening thing is that I don't think that M Bay will include an autobot that will 'kick butt'. I hope and want him to include Grimlock to kick some bad ass and it would be great to see how they would create him. It would also be great to see the dinobots themselves as a team that come down and help out optimus and the others but I personally with just except just having Grimlock. Shockwave great but if he can be transformed onto main screen why cant Grimlock. If this is the final film them why not please the fans and put in the bots both good and bad that the fans I read on forums want?

I liked most of the designs, especially the first movie's, I hope part 3 is a bit more like those.
