i was thinking it did look like geddy tartovski [sp] (samurai jack, sw clone wars)
it looks like a kids cartoon.
the same as the rest.

From ToplessRobot.com:• "Watching Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is marginally better than sh***ing your pants, but it takes a lot longer." Very well put.

I say we all petition cartoon network for a prime time spot for a real transformers cartoon designed by Don Figeroa and Story by Simon Furman.

Why don't they make a series for those of us that are over 12!!?? They have done it for other series, so why not this one?
Why should they?
These cartoons are really only made to push sales for the toys. Yeah we've had non-show lines as of late (and look at how many figures have been produced in them) but the primary lines have a show attached to them.
Now if Hasbro are going to spend money developing toys they're going to want to market them to younger kids, you know, the main focus group they've always gone after.
Remember, Hasbro's out to make money, not to cater to the whims of fanboys.

yeah but to really optimize their sales of a toy line, it would make much more sense to find a middle ground that kids, teens, and adults can follow along and join in the Merchandise.. that would be more logical then to just target one age bracket.. it means more mass appeal and more money for Hasbro on toy sales..
Honestly, George Lucas and Star Wars know that their Merchandise is not just for kids, thats why they released realistic toys of those hideous Clone wars cartoon characters, versus the anime line up.. they knew that there was a collector need for Dirge, and Asaji Ventrus..
Believe it or not, a large part of the toy market share is actually going out to collectors and fanboys trying to recapture toys from their youth..

if we keep bitching about this series and then suddenly accept it, all our credibility is gone.. they will forever look at our fandom as a joke, and will say this..."Transformers fans.. they are funny, we can design crap on a stick that transforms into toilet paper and they'll bitch for awhile.. they always bitch for awhile.. but they eventually take it!!"
I don't want some jerk executive at Hasbro or studio to ever think they have the right to say that about us.. so My advice... stop bitching, until the show comes out.. or keep this attitude after the show airs.. cause if we raise this much hell already.. and change our minds down the road..especially after the big stink we caused with the movie and its designs... all our credibilty is lost as a fandom!!!
If you don't think we have that much of a voice, your wrong.. we had the director Micheal bay himself addressing on video, the Flames issue, and the distruction of our Childhood comments.. our fandom can get loud if it wants to be.. but we need to be uniform and not waiver on things we hate, otherwise.. we are the bitching fandom that eventually takes it in the rear, "the boy who cries wolf" and that opens the door for any kinda crap coming out with transformers labels on it in the future... just because they think they can get us to buy it...

But they probably look at the popularity of the DC cartoons they've produced and figure that the style is obviously popular)

Yeah but the thing i've noticed with SW figures is that so many characters have so many different figures and the only difference is a minor variation, some anniversary, or it comes with an all new blaster pack or some other minor change.
Believe it or not, a large part of the toy market share is actually going out to collectors and fanboys trying to recapture toys from their youth..
So many people have said this for so many years, and i've yet to see any evidence that backs it up.
Why? Because Hasbro doesn't have those figures, no one does. So no offense intended, but what do you base your comments on?

Well, still better then Megatron Movie design....i was prepared for something like this, when they mentionned "Teen Titan"!
Ok, the design suck monkey balls but i won't jusdge until i see an episode. It might end up beign AT least decent.
Judging by the image...i think mass-shifting is back!
EDIT: And in hindsight I can't help but laugh in the general direction of all those folks who constantly glitched and moaned for a TF series made in a Western country because they couldn't stand the Japanese series'... Well, you guys got what you wanted. Happy now?
No im not, Windracer! You Tf-Anime purist where right after all...

See, i've been asking for people to show me something like this for years and no one's been able to until now! Thank you!
Now the problems with it.
• It's 8 years old.
• They call the collectors market a secondary market, meaning collectors aren't buying in the shops but rather from specialty collector shops (though I will concede that has probably changed in 8 years)
About 6 million adults-mostly men-spend $1.7 billion annually to collect miniature die-cast cars, trucks and farm machinery. They spend an average of $30 per replica.
Of course that's for all brands, not Transformers only. So i'm still not convinced the collector/fan base is a big figure in Hasbro's eyes.
