The Xbox Live Marketplace has updated with a lot of Transformers related content. Major Nelson has reported that the Marketplace has been update with Transformers dashboard that cost 150 points. The dashboards include G1 Autobots, G1 Decepticons, Decepticon Game Art, and Autobot Game Art. There are also two Game Picture packs that cost 200 points. One pack has G1 content, while the other has Transformers Movie content.

The gamer pics are not up yet but i can tell you the G1 pack is great. It has the bot and con emblem, head shots of prime, megs, soundwave, onslaught (i think), shockwave, starscream, bumblebee jazz, ratchet, shockwave, and ironhide. Its all IDW artwork.

I got the G1 icon pack and the G1 Autobot theme. It looks sweet. Now all I need is a Optimus Prime faceplate and I'll have my 360 transformed. That was lame. Sorry.

i have an xbox live question...

i just have a silver membership, if you pay and get the gold...do you still have to use up points for pic/theme packs?

you pay points to get it? why can it be free? how the hell do you get the points anyway.

you have to buy points...either from video game stores or u can use ur credit card and buy em through marketplace

but yeah its stupid.....i accept you have to be a paying xboxlive member to play online, but all the other downloads like game demos and videos are free...never understand why the theme packs cost points

You can either buy them. The GamerScore is just for bragging rights.

From what I can figure, getting all of the themes & picture packs would run you a whole $12.50....1000 MS points. But that's if you get all of them all at once. Really, it's not that bad. I usually just get themes & such when I have leftover points after getting a game or 2 on the live arcade. It sure beats just staring at the points untill you have extra funds to add to what you have because you need 100-200 more points to get any sort of worthwhile game like I have to do with the 300 points I have on the Wii.
