Are you serious? Anyone getting mad at this needs to chill out and develop a sense of humor. It's just like the War for Cybertron commercials with Shockwave enjoying "The Touch"
Oh, I have a sense of humor.....when it comes to stuff that is actually funny. These commercials, however, are infuriating. And "The Touch" has been part of the transformers world since the the 80s, so of course it's gonna be used.

I assume Shockwave's going to bring in the Predacons because Megatron wants to find and hunt the Autobots.
Beast Hunters. They're hunters that are beasts.

Oh, I'm sorry, but to me, and anyone else in their right mind, find grown men as of 2010 who watch a show for five year old girls and make up a majority of it's fanbase are just sick in the head. GO SEE A DOCTOR!!!!

See, here's the problem. The goal of the show's creators was to NOT make it for little girls. That's the LAST thing they wanted to do, as they HATE those kind of saccharine girly shows because of how stereotypical they are.Manterax Prime wrote:Oh, I'm sorry, but to me, and anyone else in their right mind, find grown men as of 2010 who watch a show for five year old girls and make up a majority of it's fanbase are just sick in the head. That is completely ludicrous. You're afraid for being quote-unquote "assimilated" into another fandom if given the slightest chance of not hating something? Dude, there are TONS of things that I don't hate that I also don't like. It's called being indifferent. I neither like nor dislike certain things because I simply DON'T CARE. I don't make a big deal about them because I show them neither love nor hatred.Manterax Prime wrote:Afraid of cooties? No. I'm just afraid of falling in w/ a fandom that's weird and where some members may be stupid enough to do something to land themselves in jail.
Welcome to fandoms, home of all sort of strange people. Note how I said "fandoms", meaning that EVERY fandom has these kinds of people, even the Transformers fandom.Manterax Prime wrote:Need I also mention that there are people who draw MLP fanart with sexual themes? Yup, they do that. Convinced yet. I aint letting up on this now that you've gotten me in ranting mode.
Seriouly, sexualy themed MLP fanart. If that doesn't scream "sick in the head" and "needs to see a doctor" then I don't know what does.
If they were human I wouldn't give it a second though. I'd say "that's perfectly normal to be attracted to humans"....because it is. But they're not humans, THEY'RE PONIES!!!!

And what's more, some of the sexually-themed Transformers art isn't merely fan art, but OFFICIAL material. So if you're appalled by the MLPFIM community having that kind of fan art, you should be more appalled by the Transformers community having published, offically-licensed, CANON works that contain that same kind of stuff. By your logic, that makes the Transformers an even worse franchise than MLPFIM.

This "ridiculous subject" wouldn't exist if that crazy wonam hadn't came up with the idea for the show in the first place and people weren't posting that stuff on the net.
But she did, and they do, so it does.
And sure, they tried to avoid the stereotypes, but as far as I can tell, THEY FAILED.
Giant Robots: FTW! ALWAYS AWESOME!
World of mostly female ponies that use magic: Somebody got insanely drunk when they came up with this.
Hasbro.....This is why a whole lot of people are hating on you right now.

Not her fault that they do. Neither she nor the show promotes the perverted mindsets of those kinds of people. They do it by their own choice.Manterax Prime wrote:This "ridiculous subject" wouldn't exist if that crazy wonam hadn't came up with the idea for the show in the first place and people weren't posting that stuff on the net.

As one who has objectively compared it to other material, I have the justification to say that that is an incorrect statement.Manterax Prime wrote:And sure, they tried to avoid the stereotypes, but as far as I can tell, THEY FAILED.
