What's more, Legacy Inferno has Scavenger's chest detail sculpted inside his ant head.AllNewSuperRobot wrote::lol: Everyone's favourite Bulkhead...
Still, Scavenger is a strange TM to homage. One of my personal favourites (not that TM had a "bad" one) but I distinctly remember he was a notorious shelfwarmer.

Well, Scavenger was originally created at all in order to be a Transmetal Inferno (which is even more obvious when one realizes that Scavenger ended up being the only Transmetal 1 who didn't represent a show character), but had his name changed due to the pre-Transmetal Inferno toy still being on the shelves in large quantities at the time.AllNewSuperRobot wrote:Yeah, that is really interesting. I wonder what the intention was when including the Scavenger decals? Especially since they aren't listed as the default form. As far as I can recall, Inferno and Antagony are the only BW Ant Bots. So some kind of extensive Botcon-like redeco is unlikely.

Huh?AllNewSuperRobot wrote:Rhinox, Dinobot and Inferno. The show Transmetals that never were... Sigh
The fact that they also made BW Ravage furry when his original Takara toy was also a Transmetal (though, one representing his Cybertronian body in-universe) seems to further reinforce this, sadly.AllNewSuperRobot wrote:As said before, I do think these little Easter eggs as further proof that the Transmetals will likely never return, as they were. They are as niche as the Fuzors, although they would require less in-universe explanation.

Emerje wrote:We already have listings for Voyager Silverbolt and Leader Tigerhawk for next year so it isn't a stretch to say Transmetals are also on the table in the coming years.

Would a Selects retool be out of the question?
