I anticipate the movie will have a run similar to Phantom Menace: Makes a ton of money on effects-glitz but gets slagged critically due to 'seriously' bad writing.

Most movies that make a lot of money fall into that trap.

1) It is most of the transformers characters that we know and love.
2) It's on the big screen in live action.
3) Classic transformation sound - genius!

I happened to remember a bunch of haters, now slowly they are anticipating the release date like crack-heads in need of a hit.

I disliked some of the designs however I kind of got use to it as I saw the film as another incarnation and not G1.

This film is definetly going to be a huge action film. Which is what should be that's what Transformers are all about in the first place. Cool Robots that turn into vehicles and animals and blow the crap put of each other. That's how I remember G1 or Beast Wars.

I'm really jealous that i have to wait like 7 hours to see this thing. It's driving me nuts. I wish even the official site had it, cos I can see what they have THERE. Or if they listed it in the trailers and clips for this movie, with the blue links, I can see those too.

it's funny how easily excited most people get around here. it's just another trailer with a few extra shots here and there. it still doesn't change the fact that it's not a tf's movie. all you have is an action move about stupid looking robots that come from space and transform into things and it definately has that "bay" feel to it. barraging the audience with explosions and over the top action sequences to cover up the sub-par acting and lack of a true plot.

HMMM.. U know.. it's really funny how a lot of you are changing your minds about this movie. From the beginning, there were a lot of you putting this project down, making fun of it.. or it would never work. NOW.. all of a sudden, after seeing these movie clips, the opinions are changing. HMMMM... guess some of you should have kept silent before going on your "prejudging frenzy".

All I have to say is.. Mr. Bay.. MY HAT'S OFF TO YOU AND YOUR TEAM FOR BRINGING A FRESH AND NEW GROWN UP SPIN (i.e: G1, Armada, Beast Wars) TO THE TRANSFORMERS FRANCHISE!! YOU GUYS ARE THE ****!! (PARDON MY FRENCH!!)
