Are you serious? That stuff will be great. I laughed every time I've seen that scene, as did the 1/2 dozen co-workers that have just watched the trailer. Everyone knows robots are from Japan!

Heh, I thought it was hilarious - and not just because Japan is a tech hub. You do realize that most of the past transformers cartoons and toys came out of Japan. Thus, it was kind of a double reference there. That is some subtext that I think you missed.
Besides, bad one liners are one of the things that makes America great!
