What do you mean its not a TF movie? Its a story about giant alien transforming robots fighting amongst humans. That IS transformers.
Hate to flame but your retarded. Even if the acting and plot aren't the best, its still transformers. A lot more so than Armada, Energon and Cybertron were. And I'm not even gonna mention Beast Machines.
This is just another incarnation, and it looks to be kickass.

.......
...Well, I'm seeing it
And to know that Jazz and Ratchet have yet shown any form in the trailers so there must be a lot more than meets the eye

Its not often that a movie makes me emotional but I honestly got chills up my spine watching that. When Prime transformed and there was the "sound" I felt like an 8 year old again watching TF's for the first time.
I have NEVER wanted to see a movie so badly in my life. July 4th can't come soon enough.

If you don't have Quicktime Player on your computer then that is why your seeing it in all green. Download Quicktime to your pc and you'll see it just fine.

No, that's not why the soldiers were shooting Bumblebee. I can't spill it without spoiling it.
Just uh...a little hint...
*spoilers*
It has to do with the pictures we saw months and months ago of the giant Bumblebee statue being strapped to the railcar at Sector 7/Hoover Dam

But, an overabundance of stupid and crass lines like the "probably Japanese" remark will sink this film faster than wet toilet paper.
Are you serious? That stuff will be great. I laughed every time I've seen that scene, as did the 1/2 dozen co-workers that have just watched the trailer. Everyone knows robots are from Japan!
With all due respect bro, the only thing that says is that you work with 6 people who have an appreciation for some serious NachosIf robots are from Japan, then bad one-liners are owned in America, baby
Heh, I thought it was hilarious - and not just because Japan is a tech hub. You do realize that most of the past transformers cartoons and toys came out of Japan. Thus, it was kind of a double reference there. That is some subtext that I think you missed.
Besides, bad one liners are one of the things that makes America great!

It'd be great if the negative folks would let the fans who are extremely excited about this trailer and movie enjoy some time without having to defend our views. Please feel free to make your comments, but please try to do it in a non-patronizing manner to the fans who are excited about this.

Starscream's grown on me considerably. I still don't like Bumblebee much. The designs do look good in motion!
The script...well, what little we get, isn't promising.
Looking forward to seeing it, though.

Oh, I didn't miss that part; I've dug Transformers since before they were 'Transformers' per se (Dialcone). That one-liner was still stupid tho. And I do agree that not all bad one-liners are bad; some are so bad that they're actually good.

"You're not getting a Porche"
That sooo intentional. (Porsche=Volkswagen) That's the movie crew and Hasbro's little F U to Volkswagen for not letting the VW Beetle be used for Bumblebee. Great stuff.
The "from japan" joke was great to.

Thank you for that link! Why the hell does Yahoo provide such terrible quality?! There were entire pieces missing from what I saw....
Geez.
EDIT: The transformation sound is forced. However, the film is still not done. I believe we've got another week before it's finally locked down. I'm sure the sound will be edited correctly by that point.
Oh and to all the naysayers...MEGATRON PWNS DAMNIT!

Ok, so it's not a Transformers movie...
... but it is an action movie about alien robots who transform into things.
For something that apparently isn't a Transformers movie, it sure is called 'Transformers'
I'm not a big fan of some of the designs either, and alot of choices in the film have been bad ones. But like it or not, it's Transformers.

Still hate the designs, but that trailer was cool. The movie is going to be great, but it would have been extraordinary (to me) if the 'bots would have looked... like Transformers.
And I'm pretty sure Porsche is NOT owned by Volkswagen.... right?

I have to work on that when I get home from work.
Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box and social media do the thinking for you.
Question EVERYTHING!!
Just because you have a youtube review channel doesn't make you special.
I look forward to attending a Botcon soon only to settle matters with several idiots in person (yes this is a threat).
