OK so obviously it didn't work but that mess up there is supose to be a rotating cube. On each side of that cube is a picture of Megatron from Beast Wars/Machines.
One side is his original form, another is TM, then TM2, Transorganic, Fortress, and Optimal. All in robot modes of course.

Optimus Prime: "This is a military mission, not a vendetta, Omega."
Omega Supreme: "Results: same!"

Nope, it's Megatron.
Long story short, in Beast Machines Megatron rebuilt the TM2 Primal body without a beast mode and then transferred his spark into it.
If you look closely at the face you'll see a hint of Megatron in it.

I consider him to be a seperate character with no real relation to be Megatron. I allso didn't add the Diagnistic drone that Megatron possessed for a short time.
Besides, it's a cube, only has 6 sides.
And yes that's Megatron not Primal. You can tell by looking at the face.

I think that is more than fair.
Though the character's movement and mannerisms that Megatron got in the Diagnostic Drone was perfect. You knew it was Megatron just by looking at it.

Close ups

-=edit=-
I allso just noticed a couple other slight differences. Optimus Primal keeps his shields up on his shoulders in robot mode where Megatron has made better use of them on his arms.
Allso if you look closely at the uper arms you'll notice there is no faction symbol on Megatron where Optimus' Maximal symbols should be.
I really wish they'd make a toy of this Megatron.
