Official Images of Classics Wave 1!
Re: Official Images of Classics Wave 1!
Hey all! Long time reader, first time poster... and I just have to chime in with the rest of Transfandom and say that these figures are AMAZING! IMO they should get out of the "Animated" business and make toys like these. And you know, if they'd throw in some die cast I'd even pay 30 bucks a pop for the deluxes!

He looks damn good in color. I just got my newest issue of the TF club mag today and saw it. They all look good in fact. Powerglide is more silver than red but still looks real good.

Welcome, and I agree. They could charge Ehobby Reissue prices for these and I would still be all over them.

Ahahaha, when I saw the first line of your post, I thought you were serious about the line being total suckage, but then you added "my wallet dry," I nearly spat my drink out that was so funny!
heh, I didn't expect anyone to actually think that my attempt at humor would be funny

Seconded! And as for more Decepticons, I suggest a Classics/Universe Shockwave, for starters that would look pretty cool, and supposedly we are getiing Galvatron, and that he wouldn't be a repaint of Classics Megs, so, that should look cool!
I also want a proper Soundwave, not a g1 packed like a classics/universe.

WHAT?! you don't want a G1 reissue?
A minty fresh G1 Shockwave is the transformer equivalent of baby jesus

Actually I'd love both a Classics & reissue Shocker, if only

tbh, the amount of screentime that soundwave got, im surprised he hasnt become a MP, so if he became a classic, id guess he wouldnt get the MP treatment for a long time (saying that, the MP3 Soundwave is pretty damn cool)

OK, now that I know it was meant as a harmless joke I feel much better. Although, next time use a couple of smilies - that would have made it much more obvious.

I just got my magazine, and they do look nice in color, but the poses they chose to put them in in the magazine...makes them look really bad.

I’m fine with Bandai visuals stuff not having a dub, but my problem with Bandai visual is mainly the fact that I cant afford they’re stuff! I mean if it was cheap like what you get from Media blasters, then I’d probably be all for the company, but twenty dollars for one episode of a series just isn’t worth it.

Can you remove the gardening rake tool from Octane's left hand?
If it's removable I might get him. Do they also have rub signs? One other minor thing I wish Powerglide didn't have those fiery nipples. Are they removable too?

By the looks of it those 'fiery nipples' will be part of his electronics. Expect light-up fire and wooshing noises!

In the color pics, Octane's/Tankor's hands are empty, so I guess the answer is yes, but the answer on Powerglide's engines...Nope, it does not look possible without heavy modifications.
