Heck ya i want two more! i have one already and one more to open and another for MISB and the same for Black Shadow. Since this is the last two for the Gen-line, i thought these might be worth something in the future, so thats why i need two more and JH looks good with Wreck-Gar.

Lucius Prime, I donno what to tell you, my girlfriend and I live in a 1 bedroom apartment and making do so far, just now filling up under my desk, I have up all my shelf space for her massive book & DVD/BlueRay collection ~.~ so I only get the top of my book shelf but if I get this job with AT&T Corp then I will have my own desk at work to have some out.
So, I know I'm new and all, would like to get to know you all better so had a few questions.
1. How old are you all? (Have a feeling I might be the youngest)
2. Do you guys keep your figures in package or you open them and display them or buy two to have displayed and one in package?
3.And what got you guys into collecting Transformers to begin with?
Thank you all for your time and speak to you guys later.
Wolf Out.

Steller--welcome to the boards. You're in good hands with the rest of our Ohio crew. My answers:
1) I'm almost 37.
2) I display them out of the box, both at home and a few at my desk at work.
3) My mother brought me my first three TF's back in '84--Brawn, Rumble, and Ravage, and I was hooked. Brawn got broken years and years ago, but I still have Rumble and Ravage.

Hey Stellerwolf, welcome to Seibertron my friend, anything you want to know about Transformers, this is the place to be.
And to answer your questions
I'm 35 years old
My vintage Transformers are wrapped up in bubble wrap and stored in plastic containers and newer stuff i have some thats not opened for more than 3 or 4 years and most of the Transformers 2.0, RTS and Gen-line and 3rd party are in glass display cases from Ikea.
I use to be very heavy into Starwars, but still always liked Transformers, but when i saw the first live action movie of Transformers, that changed me 200%! I still collect Starwars from time to time and as well with GI Joe too, but im die hard on Transformers though. But im not much into the DOTM at the moment, something about the design and the new plastic that their made out of feel very cheap to me and not like Junk heap or Sky Shadow. JH and SS feels like better quality made plastic compare to DOTM figures, but it could be me though, i took the low road before when the Transformers the movie came out in 2007 and collected everything possible and the same with ROTF. I'll never make that mistake again, and strictly sticking with G1 figures and homages thats it! Sorry to rattle on there.

As for me,
1. I'm 27 year old.
2. So far I have most out of package, have a few doubles but most are out, when my girlfriend and I moved in at the start of this year I did not have enough room to store every thing I had in package so while I'm at work (Work at a vender center taking AT&T Mobility Tech calls fixing people phone issues) I'll take one in a day and open it, transform it back and forth while on calls and learn it, some call them my dork Rubik's Cube and for now I put away in boxes due to not having any real shelf space to put any thing on.
3. I was born before the show had come out and I literally grew up with them, they were on all the time, had so many of the toys growing up which I really wish I had them all still, sadly all I have is my G1 Wheely.
I agree most of the movie figures are very cheep, mostly from the ROTF like, just the plastic felt like the really cheep KO's, as for the DOTM figures I like more of them, only issue I have is the lack of paint detail on them really does make them look worse then some OK's too, BUT that gives me a chance to paint them in and add my own detail to them.
Small update on findings, nothing big at Targets other then voyager's being $9.99. TRU in Niles had Transformer Primes Arcee's (2 left), Starscream (2 left) and Bumblebee's (5 left) in stock, Also Generations 2 Sky Shadows, I was reaching up and round the top shelf and found 3 Junkheaps that some one was trying to hide so I put them all on the front pegs and by the time I was leaving I saw two of them all ready being taken up to be bought for the persons kids so that made me happy today. I'm all for collecting but not the hiding of them, not fair for others or the kids cause at the end they are still toys, toys are meant to be played with.
Any ways I'm off, getting some figures ready to take with me to the park tomorrow since we do not have any snow still to get some nice pictures of them in a live environment.
Also a small side note I dunno if any of you have Facebook but I was also thinking of making a Transformers Ohio collectors group on there too, let me know if they may be a good Idea and if any of you like to add me on Facebook please send me a message with your name that way its not public if you don't want any one else to have it.
Once again, Happy hunting all.
Wolf out.

Okay, on to the questionaire:
1) I am 29 and happily married for 10 years in May.
2)My Transformers are opened and played with. Yes, I said played with. I can admit it LOL But I open the boxes with a razor oh, so carefully, and then when I'm done with it, I put it back in the box with the ties and all... looks like I never opened it! I do have a R.I.D. Rodimus that's never been opened.
3) I had heart surgery in 1985, and the way they got me out of bed to walk around for the first time was they told my that there was a Transformer in the room for me, but I had to get up and look for it.... It was G1 Inferno. Of course over time it got played with and broke. But when the Commemorative came out at TRU, I got that one, and it's still in the box. That's where it all started... Oh, and TF: The Movie was the first movie my mom took me to in the theatre.

Sorry to be off topic, but how about a meeting with everyone, once a month, just to chit-chat and have lunch or dinner and talk Transformers and other interests? Im game for it.

2. I most defiantly open them up. Toys need to be played with, though I do have a couple figures in the box, such as generations red alert, I have the mold already soo not too much need to open him, I also keep my RTS legends in the box but they have been opened.
3. I had a friend in first grade that introduced me to armada, and I loved it. I've been a huge fan ever since.

Hey Stock,
I think the best bet if you are still looking for Junk Heap are Target stores right now. I found one at the Target in Beavercreek and another one at the Wal-Mart in Beavercreek. But seems like Target is getting newer inventory out quicker right now. I'll let you know if i come across anymore. Know anyone that has an extra RTS Wreck-gar?

I got a TF: DOTM Nitro Bumblebee from my girlfriend today. Not to bad of a mold but I started to take a look at some of my spare peaces and parts, then found an extra head to the PCC's Huffer when he's combiner mood and placed in on the body, does not look bad, planing on getting some gold paint and maybe trying to make a movie version of Goldbug. I'll add a pic at the bottom of the post.
As for getting together, ya lets wait till the new year and see what we can do,hopefully find a place that's a nice distance for all us.
Also its nice to meet you Anikenxvader, welcome to the group, I'm still new my self but have found theses guys to be great and very welcoming.
Anyways all, I want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas, do not forget to check out David Kaye's Beastwars Megatron Xmas at http://youtu.be/0avVLnSGFZU
