It looks like King Poseidon has switched to fighting Megatron since he defends Star Convoy at one point, so now I think all faction allegiances are off here.Emerje wrote:Nemesis Primal wrote:Edit: Oh, and the last panel also includes a barely-obscured-by-shadows Scylla from the new Tentakil, so there's that set of repaints basically confirmed.
Right, she and the other Seacons (you can see some of their glowing eyes behind her) were in the same tubes Galvatron was in. Looks like they finally broke free. Probably no coincidence at all that they're "primitives" and in a panel next to Primacron. They're going to need a new Autobot to fight off all these new Decepticons, obviously Star Convoy can't do it alone. May be a good time to move Armada Convoy from concept to real figure.

The return of the Primus Vanguard, last seen in Magna Convoy's storyline is unexpected... but apparently having blue is a prerequisite. I spot:
- an Omega Sentinel redeco of TR Astrotrain/Sentinel Prime, with a head I don't recognise
- Sky Claw redeco of Prime Legion Smokescreen
- BWII Dirge
- MP Bluestreak
- Prime Dark Energon Wheeljack
- TR Blurr
- T30 Brainstorm
- SonicBlue Bumble
- Siege Holo Mirage
- G1 Blue Bacchus
- Prime Hot Shot
- G1 Rumble
- a blue redeco of TR Sky Shadow?
- G1 Tracks
- G1 Dirge
- G1 Soundwave
- Straxus
And Lucky Draw Primus makes a return.
"Big Ban" is also the Japanese way of saying "Big Bang", which Primacron could simply be referring to the creation of the universe, as he also mentions Zodiac, the energy that has the power to create stars and planets.datguy86 wrote:Primacron mentions 'Big Ban' in one of last panels. Wasn't that an unused Transformer from Return of Convoy or something?

I was hoping the same, and that's what it really looks like it could be

If it comes as a UW styled box set I'd be much more apt to get it, rather than 5 individual releases again, but I'm pretty much obligated to get all combiners either way...just pointing out my wishes/preferences. I would hope we get another heroic combiner before God Neptune however, or things will continue to get out of balance.

I'm sure the boat could easily be remolded from something already existing. Either they could go the Liokaiser route and sacrifice a member, or just have 5 of them, and the 6th be modified as a weapon.
At one time I thought a new Road Caesar could actually include Star Saber as its voyager (go the CW Liokaiser route), but now that we have commander class figures I'd much rather see Star Saber & Deathsaurus as CC. Even still, you could add a couple new members to the Brainmaster team to make a 5 bot' Road Caesar.
I may be able to help you with that... somewhat.Cyberpath wrote:Wish all those Studio OX / TV mag pix were available digitally in HD.

I've got high qualify scans of the Visualworks book, which contains most of the artwork by Studio OX, Ban Magami, and Hidetsugu Yoshioka.Cyberpath wrote:I think I've seen most of them, but not remastered like on ComiXology. Some scans have the spine cast shadow on the artwork, and some images are relegated to smaller panels, stuff like that.
